Ch.7: Training Disaster

Jax and Asura run into see Bill being attacked by a group of wild Raticate. Jax and Asura save bill by having Asura use force palm to get them to run. After the Raticate leave Asura slams the door as Jax wraps up Bill's wounds. Bill thanks the 2 and gives Jax a cruise ship ticket. Jax finishes patching up Bill and looks around to see if any stayed behind to attack once they left. He saw nor sensed any that chose to face Asura's wrath. Jax and Asura left Bill's house to head to Vermillion city to go on the cruise ship for some fun. As the cross the Nugget bridge they see the battle between Ash and Misty in the gym. Jax see the team rocket trainers from Viridian city pokemon center trying to build some machine so Jax leaves them alone and heads on to the next route so he can continue his journey. Jax walks for about half a day before he reaches a camping spot for him and his team. Jax lets everyone out of their PokeBalls so they can stretch. Blake and Kurama seemed a bit disappointed about something. Jax suggests a evening battle to ease their troubles. Blake seemed excited about it but Kurama seemed a bit sad about it. So Jax decide a 2 on 1 battle with the fire-types against him. Jax turns into a Froakie causing Kurama to grow extremely angry and agreeing to the battle. Blake looked at Kurama worriedly hoping he wouldn't go crazy like he did once. Ashton tries to step in but is stopped by Asura with a straight face. As the battle began all they could do was watch the intense battle going on. The battle ended with Blake and Kurama being the loser but Jax being severely hurt. He transforms into a Chansey and heals both of them up before reverting back to his human form from exhaustion. Kurama runs over to him worried but sees he just fell asleep. They all huddle around Jax to keep him warm. Asura decided to sleep on his chest making the that she will monitor his heart beat. The next morning when Jax woke up he saw that he had fallen asleep. He saw Asura laying on top of him. He just laid back down and relaxed until she woke up and asked for a battle to get the day started. Jax transforms into a Pikachu to battle Asura. Asura couldn't help but go easy on him because of the battle from the night before he caught on quickly and told her to quit messing around. She quickly switched to a serious fighting style. Jax began to become overwhelmed but then put some distance between the two and began to let off a barrage of thunderbolt to confuse her and then hit her with a quick attack. Asura became filled with anger and fired an aura sphere where Jax was standing. Jax dodged and that the battle was over. Asura calmed down and looked where the aura sphere hit a tree to see that the tree was completely disintegrated. As everyone woke up they began to make their way to Vermillion city. Asura stared at her hands thinking if she unleashed that much power how much more could she have locked away. Jax noticed a large wooden fence saying that the gym had 96 wins and 0 loses. Jax thought about it and continued walking.  A few hours later they reached Vermillion city and took a rest at the Pokemon center. Soon after Asura started to sense evil emotions coming from outside. She snuck away to go check it out and saw some people attacking a defenseless Vulpix that was tied up to a rock. Seeing this Asura grew angry and began to us force palm on the first guy and readied an aura sphere scaring the other two guys making them grab their friend and run. Soon after they disappeared Asura went to check on the Vulpix. It turns out that the Vulpix was a shiny one and was tied up by its trainer because if that. Asura went and grabbed some healing items from Jax's bag and healed the Vulpix back up. Asura offered to take the Vulpix in but it refused saying it's trainer would come back. Asura seeing how much it trusted it's trainer agreed to leave it be but not without remembering the scar around its neck. She then went back to the pokemon center to relax with everyone else.
