Jax began to fly from lavaridge after sending out the nanodexes to his friends. He began to fly to petalburg to win his fifth gym badge from Norman the prick gym leader. Jax began to think about his last visit to petalburg. He was reminded of how Norman said he was a weak trainer and that he wouldn't make it past brawly. He was furious as he began to fly even faster towards petalburg so he could defeat the arrogant gym leader and prove him wrong.
As they neared the city of petalburg they landed in the outskirts of the city and changed back to his human form and angrily made his way to the gym. As he walked in he beat every trainer in a word game instead of a Pokemon battle. He outwitted each of them without the need to use his powers. As he entered the room the gym leader was in Norman began to laugh as he saw Jax. He said that he wouldn't battle him if he didn't have four badges. Jax opened a badge case and he showed that he had four badges so he qualified to battle the gym leader. Norman started to stutter as he tried to figure out a way to deny Jax a battle. Jax saw this and demanded a battle for his badge. Norman finally gave in from not being able to come up with a valid reason to deny the battle.
To Norman the battle was over in an instant as he saw each of his Pokemon faint after a single hit each. Jax gave him a smug look as he was given the badge and left the gym. Jax began to walk to oldale town to take a little break and rest. As he reached the end of the route he felt two small presences following him. He turned around to see what it could be and saw it was not one but two Ralts. One was a normal looking one while the other had a blue hair like thing covering its eyes and had a orange horn instead of a red one like the Ralts hiding behind it.
The two psychic types looked like they hadn't eaten in days. Jax kneeled down to their level and asked if they would like some food. The two looked at each other and softly asked if he had calmed down after the last time. Jax looked at them curiously wondering what they meant. They explained that they saw him when he was heading to petalburg city just a few hours ago with an angry aura. Jax smiled and said "yes I have calmed down that gym leader was just a jerk". The two looked at him and hugged him causing Asura to come out of the nanodex to defend her trainer only to see that he was only being hugged by the Pokemon." Jax what is going on here who are these two" Asura asked as she retracted her bone rush that she had summoned. "They are just hungry Pokemon why don't we take them to the Pokemon center and have them get a check-up to be on the safe side. The regular Ralts asked in a sweet girly voice "w-will it hurt". Jax only smiled and said "not at all little one". As they made their way to the center Asura went back into the nanodex.
After the two Ralts got their check-up Jax gave them some food."would you like to meet some of my friends who were in a predicament like you" Jax asked as he saw them quickly nod then go back to eating their food. Jax brought out the eevee twins Jesse and Kera. The two quickly ran to Jax nuzzling him "Hi dad it's been so long" Jesse said in her cute voice that could soothe a savage Tauros with ease. The two quickly looked up when they heard the word dad. "What does she mean when she called you dad" the two Ralts ask in unison. "You see these two I found while I had just started my journey and they were being abused so I had Asura the big Pokemon you saw earlier who hadn't evolved yet save them and I asked if they wanted to come along with me and ever since I started training them they had become like my children like most of my other Pokemon" Jax explained to the psychic types. Their eyes lit up with excitement as they asked in unison "can we come along too". Jax smiled as he held out two luxury balls for them. "These are special pokeballs that will make you feel very comfortable on the team also if you do not want to stay in them let me know and I won't force you to" he said as they pressed the button on the balls simultaneously as they clicked without even shaking. He let both out and said "Now for the final step you two need names". He began to think as they stared at him with an eevee on each shoulder. "How about Stryker for the boy and Rosella for the girl" Kera the shiny eevee spoke up for the first time since she came out of the nanodex.
