After changing into the team aqua uniform and using his DNA to make him look like a grunt he and Claire began to make their way towards the hideout. "What's the plan boss?" Claire asked as they were nearly at the entrance. "The plan is that I will send a look a like to slateport since Archie is there to cause a distraction then when he arrives I will take him down" Jax said as he continued walking until they reached the entrance. "Wait how are you going to send a look a like and how did you know Archie was in slateport" Claire asked as he looked at her. "To answer your first question I have two Ditto with me and the answer to your second question is that I read his mind" Jax responded with no emotion what so ever. Claire just looked at him as he released two Dittos from luxury balls. One transformed into him and the other transformed into a pidgeot. "Alright mason you know the plan right" he looked at the ditto who had transformed to look like him. "Yes sir" he said in english which astounded Claire. "Oh yeah I forgot to mention that some of my pokemon have been taught english so that it makes it easier to relay messages" Jax said as he handed mason six pokeballs.
Mason flew off on the pidgeot towards slateport city. "Alright now we just wait until Archie shows up" Jax said as they walked in. "How do you know your way around in here with it being your first time in this hideout" Claire asked quietly as they had begun navagating through the base. Jax turned with what looked to be an annoyed look on his face he linked up there minds so they could talk through telepathy. "Remember when I said that I read Archie's mind" Jax asked through the link. "Yeah " Claire said showing signs of a headache from her first telepathic link. "Well I kinda looked into your mind to get the layout from when we first met" Jax said refering to when they fought in Mauville city. "How was that even possible how did you get so much info in a matter of seconds" Claire asked confused.
"Well I..." Jax started before he looked in a random direction. "Archie is nearly here come on" Jax said pulling her towards the dock that they had inside the base. Jax linked the telepathic link to Joan to check to see how things were going on the other end. "Yea about that the Carmen girl is going kinda hogwild on the grunts fighting her way to maxie" Joan responded embarrased. "Just let her blow off some steam she'll tire herself out as soon as she has had her fill" Jax said as he thought of the poor grunts at the other base. "When will that be?" Joan asked quizzically. "How many has she taken out and how many are left before you reach maxie" Jax asked. "She has taken out about 293 oops make that 294 and there are about 26 left" She answered questionably. "Then about 26 more before she calms down" The boy said as they ended the telepathic link for the time being.
"Yea everything is great at the other base" Jax told Claire as Archie arrived with Mason and Jane following close behind. The two dittos snuck over to Jax unnoticed and informed him that all went well. They went back into the nanodex to rest for the time being. "Alright you stay here while I deal with Archie and Matt"Jax said as he walked over after tearing off the team aqua uniform to them doing a slow clap. "Congrats your not complete idiots"Jax said with a smirk. "This pest again" Matt said about to pull out a pokeball. "Stop right there matt before you do that I have something I want to say to the brat" Archie said walking forward. "What do you want you captain hook knockoff" Jax said trying to do insults like Carmen. "I never believed i'd see my nephew try and stop me and make it this far on his own in my base" Archie said catching jax off guard. "What are you talking about do you know my family" Jax said taken a bit aback by this. "Know your family i'm apart of it boy I am your moms brother after all" Archie said surprising everyone. He expected this to make the boy lose his will to fight since he wasn't lying that he and Jax were related. "I don't care if we are family I will take you and your entire organization down so why don't you and your little puppy come and get some" Jax said refering to Matt as a puppy. "Matt handle this chump" Archie commanded as he walked back to the submarine he just stole.
"What afraid to get your butt kicked by a kid 'Uncle' Archie" Jax mocked stopping Archie in his tracks. "What did you just say you sorry excuse for a flesh and blood relative of mine" Archie said furious that he had been called weak by a child of his own family none the less. "You heard me uncle" Jax said not even fazed by the fact that he foud a part of his family."Alright you asked for it" Archie said as he and Matt both sent out Sharpedo's each with mega stones. "Alright love birds do your thing" Jax said as he sent out Kera and Stryker. "Oh great I thought this was going to be a real challenge" Stryker said as he looked at the two angry shark pokemon. "Sit tight sweetheart i'll handle this" Stryker said as he looked at jax to activate the keystone. Soon both sharpedo and the gallade began to mega evolve. The link was immediately after the evolution process was over. Stryker went to work pummeling the two sharks as Kera watched her knight in shining cape protect her. Jax looked at her as she had hearts in her eyes.
The battle soon ended with both sharks going downand reverted pack to their normal forms. Stryker picked Kera up and held her close as he turned back into his regular for as the battle was over. Jax then noticed that Archie had disappeared. "Claire" Jax said telepathically "Follow archie and be his quote unquote back up until I arrive". Claire nodded as she jumped in the submarine as it submurged into the water. Jax walked out of the base as he contacted Joan via Gary's nanodex. "Hey Jax what's up"gary answered. "How are things on your end?" Jax asked as he went to the pokemon center to heal up. "Well Carmen finally calmed down but Maxie reawakened Groudon" Gary said. "Don't worry about that for now get Carmen and everyone meet me in mossdeep city oh and tell Melody not to worry about the contest in lilycove city I already won it" Jax said. "Roger that" Gary said before rethinking the last part of what Jax said before the call ended.
