July second, 2007,

I wake up with drool pooling out of my mouth at top speed and Eithen's arm around me. I sit up and groggily wipe my mouth as I look around. I gently unwrap Eithen's arm from around me and stand up. I then smell Bacon so I tiredly walk towards the kitchen.

When I enter I see Eithen's mom and Alex. Alex is Eithen's little sister and she is the most perfect child ever. She should be thirteen by now and she looks like she has grown a lot. When she was younger she would follow Eithen, Connor, and I around all the time. She was super adorable and I never wanted to leave her side.

Alex looks up from the counter and smiles widely. I smile as well and at the same time we rush towards each other with open arms. I wrap my arms around her and hug her tightly. She hugs me back with the same amount of enthusiasm. When we pull apart Alex has the biggest smile ever on her face that I never realized I missed so much.

"Sophi Oh my gods (hehe ;) back to the story) you do not know how much I have missed you these past few years," She says and leads me to the counter next to her mom who was making eggs and bacon at the stove.

"Hello Ms. Joseph," I say being sure to call her by her maiden name.

When Eithen and Connor turned ten their parents split up. I still remember how that year Eithen and Connor got into so many fights with each other. Eventually they stopped speaking to each other completely. I still hung out with both of them but soon Eithen shut me out. Connor still let me hang with him, but soon he got into smoking once he turned eleven. He then started to shut me out as well and I just decided to leave and spend more time with Emi. That's another reason why Eithen and I stopped talking. He eventually started to talk to me again when we were twelve, but by then my crush on him grew into a MASSIVE crush so I could hardly talk to him anymore, and Connor and I still didn't talk.

Their mom stayed at their house and Eithen stayed with her, but Connor, Alex, and their older sister Bella moved in with their dad who only lived a few blocks away and they visit on the weekends. Speaking of the devil, Bella walks in just as Ms. Joseph and I finish chatting a bit.

I almost scoff loudly cause, well Bella was a huge Bit-brat, I was gonna say brat, and she is just an awful person in general. You know, one of those Girly bratty teens with the whole pink and heels and clown makeup thing going on.

Just as I was going to scoff Alex pulls me towards her and brings her hand to my ear.

"Bella is a lot cooler now, less bratty you know?" she whispers quickly and then lets me go.

I nod my head and hesitantly smile at Bella. Surprisingly she smiles back and walks up to me. I stare at her a bit and gasp when she hugs me tightly.

"Oh Sophia I have missed you so much how old are you now? 15?" she says quickly as she hugs me even tighter.

"Oh," I say and try my best to suck air into my lungs, "Um, well today's my birthday actually so I'm now sixteen-"

"Ohmygoshrealyyweneedtogotothemallorsomethingandweshouldtotallydosomeshoppingandibetwecouldfindahotdreesthatwillmakeeithendroolalloveryouand-"

I cut the seventeen year old off with a groan.

"Whoops sorry, am I talking fast again? To cut to the chase let's hang sometime."
