I'm tired and done with everything. . .

"See ya around Saph," Eithen says as I step out of the car.

Connor steps out of the car as well so he can move to the front seat and he quickly pulls me into a hug. I smile because I remember Connor really doesn't like hugs so this means alot to me.

"I hope you feel better, and remember I always got your back," he whispers to me.

I smile as he lets go and places a soft kiss on my forehead.

"BYEEEE!!!" he screams obnoxiously loud out of the car window and I Laugh.

"BYE!!!" I scream back and laugh again as they pull away and back onto the road.

I turn towards the open cemetery gates and start on down the familiar path. When I make it to my mama's grave I sit down on the grass and place a single red rose on the bed of dirt in front of the stone. I gently trace over the now fading poem under her name and smile sadly.

"Hey mama," I say quietly, "So much has happened this past year that I won't have enough time to tell you."

I laugh and smile sadly.

"To start off it has been a rollercoaster of suckyness," I say and laugh again, "It all started with that stupid boy I took here to let you meet, Conner."

I wipe a stray tear that fell after I said Conner's name.

"He cheated mama," I say and looked down, "He, he said he loved me but he lied. He kissed another girl during this stupid party and I caught him, and later on he accidentally let it slip that he did it with her while we were dating. But Ema was there to protect me and she showed him what happens when you hurt her friends."

I start to cry a bit more as I think about Ema.

"Mama," I whisper, "Ema and I, we said awful things to each other, I, we got in a huge fight and I'm scared that we won't ever make up. Instead of staying after the fight I ran like a wimp in tears away from her. She was my best friend mama and I ran from her. Thankfully though, Eithen found me. He took me inside his home and calmed me down with a little help from Connor. I spent the entire with his family and I, I never realized how much I missed them so much. Connor, Alex, Eithen, and even Bella who is pretty cool now."

I look down at the ground and smile lightly.

"Eithen has actually payed attention to me lately and I feel like we can have our old friendship back and maybe, maybe something a bit more."

I looks at the words inscribed on her stone and wipe away my tears.

"I remember," I say and smile even more, "Last time I was here I cried my heart out and said how I couldn't handle this life without you. I still miss you, but I think I'm starting to get a hold on this whole life thing."

I smile and laugh lightly and stand up.

"I miss you, and love you," I say, "Thanks for always listening, I'll try to visit more this year."

And with that I walk away from her grave and out of the cemetery. Eithen offered to stay to take me home. I declined nicely because I wanted to walk home instead. It's three miles but I needed the time to think by myself.
