Flames Pond and the Princess 4: Flames Pond Never Dies

Someone I Used to know...

Lily's POV
I started to freak out. "Mom? What do we do?"

Mom didn't answer. She was too focused on the person with the mask. I wanted to kill whoever this guy was. Or gal. But I didn't have enough space to make any movement of any kind. Nor did I have any weapon on me.

A minute later, I felt my feet slip. Looking behind me, I saw that mom and I were backing up into a hole. "Uh, Mom?" I called.

No answer.

"Mom?"

Again, nothing.

I was literally screaming. "MOM!!!"

But it was too late. I fell off the edge and landed hard on the ground. I also hit my head on a tree root which made me blackout.

Lucy's POV
I gasped on hearing the scream. Lily was gone. "Lily? Lily! Oh no..."

I avoided the hole and my ended up being against a tree trunk. I closed my eyes, not wanting to see what would happen next.

Right when I thought my days were over, the mystery person spoke. His tone was low.

"Lucy?" he asked.

I opened my eyes. "How- How do you know me?! Who are you?! A stalker? Don't make me hurt you!"

"No need. I'm not wanting to harm you..."

I was surprised. Yet still uneasy. "O- Oh. So, you aren't gonna kill me?"

The man shook his head. "No."

I started to relax just a bit. But my fists were still clenched in case this guy was tricking me.

"Who- Who are you?"

The man tilted his head. "Seriously? After all these years, you've forgotten all about me? You should know better than this..."

Slowly the man lifted his helmet off. Once the mask was off, I almost died.

The man was Flames Pond.
