Lucy's POV
The next day, I set out to look for Jake back at the castle. I needed to find a guard's outfit and I needed to arrange that meeting with the Congress.

As I was walking around, I wanted to avoid making any contact with the guards. Besides, if they found me, they'd probably ask me what I was doing.

However it was too late, Just as I was rounding a corner and beginning to head up to Jake's room, a guard spotted me. Instantly, he pointed at me.

"Hey, you!" he barked.

I froze and dared not to speak a word. Slowly, I turned around.

"Your highness?" he asked, soon recognizing my face. "What are you doing? And where have you been?"

"I uh, I was taking Butterscotch out for a quick trot around the town." I lied.

"Why didn't you tell us where you were going? And on top of that, why didn't we receive any word from the other guards about this?"

"I was in a really big hurry." I responded trying to sound sorry. "I'll remember to remind you guys next time. I promise."

The guard seemed to stay quiet as if he didn't believe me at first. But then he nodded. Immediately a wave of relief crashed upon me.

"Alright." he said. "I'll forgive you for now. Kidding. But anyway, I feel like you need help with something."

"As a matter of fact, I do." I said. "Um, I need to find Jake. Have any idea as to where he might be?"

The guard nodded. "He said that he went out to take a walk through town with his girlfriend Cassidy."

"Oh yeah! Jake's no longer single! Lucky guy..."

"Mmm hmm... Anyway, you should be able to find him at that new restaurant."

I nodded. "Thank you. You've been a big help already."

As I turned to leave, the guard asked, "Would you like me to escort you to your destination you highness?"

I shook my head. "I'll be fine. Go and do whatever you guards do."

The guard nodded then I left.
