Christian's POV
We left immediately in the morning. It was Adam's orders. Honestly, Adam reminded me of my own dad. There was something about him that I just really admired about him. I didn't know what it was. Maybe it was the fact that he was so determined to find his wife. Or maybe it was the fact that he wouldn't let anything get in his way.

However I was starting wonder if these guys even knew where they were headed?

"Hey, maybe we shouldn't go this way." I said.

Adam turned around. He was obviously offended. "Excuse me? Are you inquiring that I should turn back around now? There's no way. No way, no how!"

I looked at Lily. "Come on Lily." I plead. "Could you at least talk some sense into your father for me?"

Lily sighed. "I'm sorry." she says. "But I have no control over what my father does. And when it comes to situations like this he normally doesn't quit until the job is finished. But if I could, I would."

"I understand." I say. "Thanks anyway."

Lily's POV
Christian turns back around.

I turn my gaze to Matt. Soon I was staring.

Matt seemed to notice. "Something wrong?" he asked.

I look away. "It's nothing." I lie.

Matt shrugged. "Alright. But if you need someone to talk to, just let me know."

"Actually. I was wondering... how old are you?"

"That's a random question." Matt says with a laugh. "I'm nineteen. What about you? Sixteen?"

"I'm eighteen."

"Nice! You know for an eighteen year old, you have an adult like attitude."

I laughed. "What is that supposed to mean? And is that a compliment or is it an insult?"

Matt chuckled again. "It was... a little bit of both I guess."

This made me smile.

Matt raised an eyebrow. "Are you...?"

I began to panic. "What? Am I what?"

"Blushing?"

I was embarrassed suddenly. "I dunno... Am I?"

Matt laughed again. "Kind of. But it's OK. It's honestly... kinda cute."

"Wait did you just call me cute?"

"Oh. Are you offended?"

I perk up. "What? No! It's just... I guess I'm just speechless for words. That's all."

"I understand."

We were silent for a while. Then dad breaks the silence.
