Two against One? I think Not!

Matt's POV
Lily groans. "GRR!! He is sooo gonna get himself killed! I swear!"

"Lily, calm down."

"I can't calm down! I just can't! I've already lost him once, I'm not wanting to lose him again, Matt!"

"Lily, look at me." I say.
She does.

"Look, I know how you feel. OK? But maybe we should follow your dad's position this time."

"I dunno Matt... I just fear that I'll be able to see him again."

"Don't say things like that! I have a lot of faith in your father. Maybe you should start doing the same."

"I guess you're right Matt..."

I smiled. "Everything's gonna turn out just fine. Alright? I promise."

Lily hugged me and I hugged her tightly. "Thanks Matthew..."

Suddenly we hear the sound of metal clanking. Someone or something was coming.

Lily's POV
I quickly let go of Matt to see a shadow move slowly closer to our position. We both got in our fighting stances.

Then the shadow starts to disappear. However the object of the shadow was a huge robotic mech.

I stood in awe. "Woah! That is one heck of a robot."

Fuzzy laughed. "Hahahahahaha!! And what do we have here? Am I seeing things or do you, Matt, actually have a girlfriend?"

"Gotta problem?" I asked. "And that's Mr. Spaghetti Jones to you, Fuzzy!"

"Spaghetti Jones?" Fuzzy repeated. He laughed again. "That's even more ridiculous than your mother's name, Lily!"

I growled.

"Give up Fuzzy Guy!" Matt said. "It's two against one! So give up!"

"No!"

"Then we have no choice but to turn you in!" I say.

"Do it. I dare you..."

I got impatient.
"Lily, NO!" Matt said.

But he was a bit too late.
However I never expected Fuzzy to take a swing at me with his giant mech. As I went flying I hit the back of my head and went tumbling to the floor until my whole world went dark.

Matt's POV
"LILY!" I scream. I rush over to her and check her pulse. Thank the Lord her heart was still beating! But she wasn't waking up.

"Lily, say something." I say.

Nothing.

"You're a traitor!" Fuzzy says.

I grind my teeth. "You'll regret this Fuzzy!"

"Let's save that for another time. How about we play a little game?"

I walk up to face the mech, hands clenched tightly into fists. "Of what?"

"Catch me or... save your friend!"
This was followed by Fuzzy shooting a laser beam at the ceiling. This caused the whole place to shake. Then I saw bits of the ceiling start to fall on top of Lily.

As quick as a flash, I scooped Lily up and brought her out of harm's way.

Fuzzy laughed as he made his way to the door. "So long suckers!"

However, he didn't get to celebrate his victory for so long. The blast from his guns caused the whole ceiling to crumble. And soon he was piled by large pieces of ceiling.

I looked at Lily. She was starting to regain consciousness.
"Matt?"

"Oh, thank goodness you're OK!"

"Ow! I can feel my heart beating inside my head! Di- Did we get Fuzzy taken care of?"

I chuckle a little. "Don't worry. He's dealt with. And let's hope for good this time."

Lily nodded. "Good." Then she noticed the huge piles ceiling. "What happened while I was out?"

I rubbed the back of my neck. "Well..." I began. "You see, I may or may not have saved you from nearly getting crushed. And-"

Lily smiled and I was cut off for she had just put her lips on mine.
