???'s POV
I heard three voices talking in the distance.

"So..." a female's voice said. "About the ghosts..."

"Not now Lily." a male voice said.

"Come on Matt." another male said. "Get over it!"

I began to hear footsteps and they were heading my way!
Grabbing a mask, I put it on then I hid in a closet.

I had closed the closet door just a small bit. But it was enough so that I could see who the intruders were.

Matt's POV
"OK. First off, I wasn't the cause of this. I thought you'd figure that out. So please stop blaming me!" I told Lily as we headed inside.

Adam stopped us. "Wait."

"What? What is it?" I ask.

"Something's not right..." Adam said.

Just then we all notice the fleet of stairs. We were all thinking the same thing.

"Where is everybody?" Lily asked as we began to walk up the stairs.

"Either dead or moved out." Adam suggested.

Once we reached the top of the stairs, I became anxious to leave. Just in case this place was actually haunted.
"Well," I said. "Looks like no one's here. Let's go!"

But apparently today was my unlucky day because before I even moved an inch there was a loud crash.

Adam put a finger to his mouth meaning that he wanted each and everyone of us to be quiet. As we entered the room where we heard the loud crash, we each looked around. The room we were in was a bedroom of some sort.

At first we saw nothing. Then we heard some noises being made in the closet. Lily opened the closet to see a teenager boy standing there with a mask on.

???'s POV
I stood still as the three strangers examined me.

"It's just a teen." a male with golden hair said.

The other male, brown hair, asked. "Why are you hiding?"

"I heard voices." I explained. "And I got scared and decided to hide."

"Who are you?" a female asked.

"I'm Christian." I said. "But who are you guys? And what are you doing in my home?"

"We were only curious." the blonde guy explained. "I'm Matt and this is Adam and his daughter Lily. We were just trying to find some clues."

"Clues?" I ask. "All the way out here? What are you? Agents?"

Adam, Lily, and Matt all looked at each other.
"Maaaybe?" Adam said.

"Hold on, I'm confused." I say.

"Alright. Here's the thing." Adam says. "We came here to find someone."

"Who?"

"It's his wife also known as my mother." Lily explained. "She got kidnapped and we're really desperate to find her."

"That's awful!" I say. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

"You can help us by staying out of this." Lily said.

Adam's POV
"Lily!" I snap.

"What? We don't know this kid! Besides, what if he's a spy?" Lily asked.

"Listen." Christian said. "I'm no spy. I don't even know what the heck is going on! Honestly. So let me help!"

"Don't you have other things to do?" Lily retorted. "What about your parents? Where are they?"

Christian took a seat. "My parents have been dead for... a month."

"Dead?" I ask. "What happened?"

"Well, they're not dead." Christian explained. "They just didn't want to take care of me anymore I guess. I woke up one morning, came downstairs and they weren't here."

Everyone was silent. Even Lily was quiet.

"I'm sorry to hear that Christian." I said.

"Yeah..." Matt said.

"Thanks. But it's nothing. Really."

Honestly, I felt bad for the kid. He looked as if he was only sixteen. And he had no parents? Poor kid!

I gave this moment some thought. Then I spoke after a while.
"You know," I say. "I think we could use some extra help. Wanna tag along?"

Christian sat up. "Really?"

"Really. But we have to hurry. So you have to choose now."

Christian looked at us three agents. Then he stood up. "Alright." he said. "I'll join."
