Lucy's POV
Lily and I were just about to head into the meeting room when we hear quick footsteps.

"Lucy!"

I turned around to see Adam and Matt both running our way.

I gasped. "Adam, get down! People might see you!"

"Don't worry." Matt said. "We got it taken care of."

I put hands on my hips. "What did you two do?"

"I'll explain that later." Adam said putting gentle hands on my shoulders. "But for now, we got a meeting to go to."

I was so dumbfounded however Lily sighed gratefully. "Thank the Lord! I can get out of this suit!"

Later Adam, dressed up as a guard, and I were both about to walk in when he pulls me over. "Lucy, before we go in there. I just wanted to say how much of a fool I've been. I haven't been very thoughtful. I guess Matt kinda took me away from what I needed to do. And.... I'm sorry."

I stood still.

"So, will you forgive me?"

I let the moment sink in. Adam sighed. "Alright. I guess I'll let you do it. Go on ahead, punch me in the shoulder. I deserve it."

He closed his eyes.

I acted as if I were going to punch him, but then I opened my arms and hugged him tightly. "Of course I forgive you! Like I've said years back, you're my husband! How could I not forgive you?"

Adam's POV
I smiled and hugged my wife back. "Thanks Lucy."

We kissed. Then we both walked in.
