Flames Pond and the Princess 4: Flames Pond Never Dies

Matt's POV
Lily and I had just heard screaming. And now we're trying to figure out where it came from and who it was that was in so much distress.

Just then a guard appeared.

"Well," I said to Lily. "We're done for."

But then the guard took off his helmet to reveal Adam underneath.

"Oh, dad, it's just you." Lily says.

"Where's Lucy?" I asked.

"Not with me." Adam replied.

"No, you don't say." I sarcastically said.

"Dad. seriously where is she?" Lily asked.

Adam started to freak out. "I have no fricking clue where she's at! And excuse my potty mouth. Wait, did you guys by any chance hear screaming?"

"Of course we did!" Lily said. "And right before we were able to go searching for the source of the screaming, you stopped us!"

"Oh, sure!" Adam said. "Blame it all on me!"

I stood back and watched the two have their father and daughter argument. Then after a while I became a little annoyed.
"Alright. Both of you, knock it off!"

Lily's POV
I turned to face Matt. Dad did the same.

"Look, instead of fighting, shouldn't we be looking for clues or something?"

"Matt's right. If we stand here and argue time will pass and we'll have less chances of actually finding mom."

Dad sighed. "You're right. Both of you are. I'm sorry Lily."

"It's fine. But right now we have a Damsel in distress to save. Well I should say Monarch. But you know what I mean. Anyway let's go!"
