"Are you working tonight?" Julian asked. He was banging his fork against the plate.

"Yeah," John said and took the plate of pancakes from Sean, he was smearing the syrup on the counter. "Paul might come over to watch you guys."

"Again?" Julian sighed and shoveled in a piece of pancake into his mouth.

"Yep," John sighed and fed Sean the pancakes. "I think he's gonna bring a friend over to help but I'm not sure."

"Is it George?" Julian asked and hopped off the chair to put his dirty plate into the sink.

"Uncle Georgie's coming?" Sean's eyes went wide and bounced on John's lap happily.

"No, I don't think it's George," John said. "He has a date with his girl I think."

"Then who is it?" Julian let out an irritable sigh.

"A friend." John said and made sure that Sean had chewed all his food. "Be good to him. I don't want to know that you managed to miraculously drive him out of the house."

"Yes Daddy," Julian said sweetly and kissed his father's cheek before running to the living room where his book bag was. "I'll see you after school okay?"

"Got it," John smiled and watched as he ran out the house.

"Daddy," Sean called out to him from the kitchen. "I'm hungry! More pancakes!"

"Oi oi, I'm coming Tiger!" John laughed and went back to the little boy reaching up for his breakfast.

On the way to the child he grabbed his phone and dialed Paul's number. By the fifth ring he picked up.

"Macca," John smiled and sat Sean in his lap. "You're coming over right?"

"Of course, I have to babysit your little demon kids when George isn't around." Paul chuckled and John couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Paulie!" Sean squeaked and made a grab for John's phone. "Paulie!"

"A certain someone wants to talk to you Paul," John chuckled. "He's dying to talk."

John handed the phone to Sean's small fists and watched with content as the boy giggled into the phone.

"Uncle Paulie!" He smiled.

"Hey little buddy," Paul loved the kid. Almost as much as he loved Julian. "How are you? You're with your Daddy?"

"Mhm!" Sean hummed proudly. "He's gonna work later!"

"That's right bud," Paul laughed. "I'm coming over later. And I'm bringing a friend with me!"

"Really?" Sean gasped.

"Really," Paul smiled to himself. "Put your Daddy on the phone."

"Bye Uncle Paulie!" Sean said before handing the phone back to his father.

"What's got the kid so worked up?" John smirked and kissed his son's head.

"Told him I'm bringing a friend." Paul said.

"Do I know this friend?" John asked and took a sip of his coffee.

"Nope," Paul answered. "But he's super nice and great with kids. Every single kid loves him."

"Fine, but if I find out that either of you set fire to the house or did something stupid I'll make sure you never get within 2 meters of my kids again. Understood?" John said and smiled when he heard Paul laugh.

"Understood Lennon," Paul giggled. "See you in a bit."
