John waited at the door of his room.
Julian's babysitter was in there. Sean's babysitter was in there. His sons' babysitter was in there. The man he was hopelessly falling for was in there.
John took a deep breath and let his hand slide onto the doorknob. It was cold. He turned the knob and was greeted by a charming smile that John had immediately fallen in love with.
"Hey." Ringo had crossed his legs and he was sitting on the floor the way that kids do, y'know crisscross applesauce style.
"Well hello there luv," John laughed and sat down next to him. "Why don't you get up on the bed?"
"It's your bed that's why." Ringo said.
"Well sharing is caring," John smiled and got up, holding out a hand to Ringo. "Come on."
"Fine if you insist." Ringo rolled his eyes and blushed when John's hand accidentally went down to his hip as he helped him up.
John tried his best to remember that this wasn't a dream. This was all real. He really kissed him a few minutes and his lips tingled with want for another taste.
He led the man onto the bed and sat next to him, not looking up so that his blush couldn't be seen. Ringo giggled to himself and grabbed John's hand, intertwining his fingers with John's.
"This is weird," John grinned. "Never dated a babysitter before."
"Never dated a dad before," Ringo giggled. "Weirder for me."
"It's not that weird." John scoffed.
"It is actually," Ringo said. "I don't know who I love more: you or the kiddos."
"I propose we find out." John smiled and pushed Ringo down onto the bed.
Ringo rolled his eyes in return and wrapped his arms around John's neck, pulling John down with him. John's hands immediately went down to the man's sides and he held onto him tightly when their lips met. John was careful and made sure that he wasn't hurting Ringo when he pressed down on him.
The kiss was slower, hungrier, but just as loving. John had parted his lips and was nervous when he started to nibble down on Ringo's lips. He hadn't done this in so long, was he even doing it correctly?
But there was a low moan emitting from Ringo's lips and John knew he'd done the right thing. His hands had moved from his sides to the hem of his shirt. John broke the kiss for a few seconds, earning little whines from the man beneath him.
John was twirling around Ringo's shirt fabric between his fingers, he bit his lip nervously and scanned Ringo's blue eyes.
"Do you want me to?" John's voice was low, husky, he felt like he was out of breath.
"Please," Ringo intertwined his fingers through John's hair and kissed him again. "Do it."
John wasted no time, worshipping the little noises that came from Ringo's lips. He watched as pale skin began to show, there was a flat stomach and a skinny chest, so skinny you could almost see his ribs poking through. But that wasn't really a big deal to John.
He tossed the shirt somewhere to the side and struggled with his own shirt. Ringo smiled and lifted John's shirt, holding it tight in his hands until he tossed it aside and pulled John in for another kiss.
Ringo still had that addicting sweetness to him and the burn of liquor on John's lips faded onto Ringo's tongue. John had stopped for a few seconds, feeling down the man's heaving chest. He traced around his neck and felt his lips move down Ringo's jaw slowly.
A low moan and a few small whimpers. John was worried. The kids, what if they hear them?
He sat up, much to Ringo's disappointment and kissed his cheek. "Sorry," he said. "I can't. They'll hear us and well, I'm not ready to explain the birds and the bees just yet."
"It's alright," Ringo smiled and kissed him gently. Slow and just as loving. They pulled away, both their chests rising and falling rapidly, cheeks flushed red, and sparks in her eyes. "Maybe if the kiddos aren't here. That'd be best."
"Oh with you here I wish they weren't." John laughed and pulled the man onto his lap, bringing him in for another slow kiss that gave John exactly what he was missing for years: love.
