John had come home to hear that his child had gotten sent home, he tried to kiss a boy, and he was getting teased at school so it's best if he just stayed home for a few days.
Sean was with him today, he thought maybe having the little Tiger at work could help get rid of the stress but oh boy this was beyond what he thought could happen.
"Ringo?" He called for the man and saw him emerge from the living room with Julian sniffling in his arms.
"I let him eat a lot of ice cream," Ringo smiled weakly. "Is that bad?"
"It's fine," John nodded. He gave the man a quick kiss and bent down to meet the eyes of his son. "You alright there?"
"Daddy," Julian wrapped his arms around John's neck. "I didn't know. I swear I didn't know."
"It's alright luv," John sighed heavily and ruffled his son's hair. He looked up at Ringo who shrugged and looked down at his shoes intensely. "He doesn't know what he was doing."
"Daddy," Julian never let go off his father's neck. He was talking into the fabric of his sweater. "Am I wrong?"
"Wrong for what?" John pried him away from his shoulder.
"Liking boys." Julian sniffled and started to cry into his father's arms once again.
"No darling it's not wrong," John wished he didn't have to see his son suffer so much. "It's never wrong to like whoever you like."
"But Daddy, I was-"
"No Jules," John got up and took Ringo hand in his. "I need to explain something to you."
"I'm bisexual. I like both boys and girls. I've had just as much boyfriends as I've had girlfriends. Personally, I prefer girls more than boys but I still like them. If you couldn't tell, I'm dating Ringo now. He's a boy and he likes me. Ringo is gay. He just likes boys. Which is one of the reasons why he's dating me. No one yells or makes fun of us. If they did, well if they did frankly I'd smack the living sh- you know what forget I even said that last part. What I'm trying to say is that being gay or bi or whatever is not gonna hurt you. No one can tell you otherwise so you might as well embrace it. You got that sweetheart?"
Julian stood in awe at his father. Never had he received such profound words from him like this before.
"You two-you're dating?" Julian sniffled. He wiped at his eyes and watched his father and Ringo look down with blushes on their cheeks.
"Get your brother in here. I think it'd be best if you both found out." John chuckled when he saw his son grin.
"You're really gonna tell them?" Ringo smiled and played with John's hair.
"Might as well," John shrugged. "They'll find out eventually."
"Daddy, Daddy!" Sean had come running for the two. "Is it true you have a crush on Ringo?"
"Yes Tiger," John smiled and picked him up. "He has a crush on me too y'know."
"Really?" His eyes were wide. He had a huge smile on his face, you were able to see where he was missing his teeth.
"Yeah boys," Ringo smiled and buried his head in the crook of John's neck, kissing it gently before feeling John's arm go around his waist. "It's not much of a problem if I dated your father right?"
"Of course not," Julian was in disbelief. "You can date Daddy. Of course you can."
"What about you Tiger," John grinned and looked over at his son. "Can Ringo date me?"
"Of course!" He giggled and reached for him anxiously. "I want another Daddy!"
