Arabella Huxtable was a slut.
At least that's what Maddox Reign constantly heard around school.
He didn't believe it though, he had always heard rumors about Arabella but he knew better than to believe them.
She was an old soul.
Quiet and delicate.
Maddox liked to watch her everyday during lunch and during their honors chemistry class.
She never spoke unless spoken too.
During lunch she always sat alone at her own table with a book in her hand.
She barely ever ate and if she did it would just be a red gala apple and a bottle of water.
During chemistry she sat in the furthest corner in the back of the classroom with her mind elsewhere at all times. Daydreaming.
Maddox liked observing her just like he was at that
very moment in the lunch room, once again a book laid flat on the table and she seemed so focused on reading. Her large eyes were hidden behind large and round reading glasses and in truth, Maddox found her rather exotic.
Beautiful smooth and naturally bronzed skin with jet black hair and oversized cherry colored lips accompanied by beautiful large almond shaped eyes with brown irises and curly thick framed lashes.
He would be lying if he said he wasn't utterly in love with her physical appearance.
Maddox suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder causing him to clear his throat.
His girlfriend Rosario was staring straight at him with her large soulful eyes.
"You weren't listening were you?" She questioned as she turned away from him to look down at her homework that lay flatly on the lunch table.
Feeling a bit guilty Maddox kissed her cheek, "I'm sorry I'm just tired." He reassured her as he scratched the back of his head with his hand and peered at her homework page, "Trigonometry babe? Come on."
Rosario frowned and then sighed heavily as she handed Maddox her pen, "I just suck at math and if I don't pass this class I'll have to go to summer school."
Maddox slightly chuckled, "I'm not going to let you fail." He told her as he began to solve the problems in his mind.
Rosario groaned as she watched him easily and quickly solve the problems on the page, "You're so lucky you're smart."
Maddox looked up at her and smiled, his dimples on full display for her and she couldn't help but blush at his goofy smile that she loved so much.
"Maddox, you're sitting with us today?" Tamia sarcastically questioned as she and Gwen approached the table with their lunch trays in hand.
Maddox rolled his eyes at his girlfriends friends who put their trays down on the table, "Nice to see you guys too." He muttered unenthusiastically.
Both Tamia and Gwen forcefully grinned at Maddox simultaneously while they sat down in front of him and Rosario.
"Please tell me you guys heard about Arabella and Abel." Gwen began to speak as she pulled out her phone.
