Rosario knitted both of her unkempt eyebrows together, "I told you already I'm sorry."

Maddox who was sitting right beside his girlfriend on the living room couch showed no interest in her apology whatsoever.

His elbow was resting on the arm rest and his index finger was touching his temple while his thumb was tucked beneath his chin.

"Maddox!" Rosario called out to him as she even pushed his arm a bit, annoyed Maddox glared over at her and scoffed.

"You're mad at me for standing up for you but I'm being the immature one?" He bitterly replied.

Rosario suddenly buried her face into her hands and had begun to cry, "You just don't understand." She barely managed to choke out between her gasps for air.

Maddox looked over at her and smirked before, "I don't give a fuck if you cry."

Rosario pushed her curly hair back away from her face and began to slowly shake her head, "You don't get it X, you just don't."

Maddox had finally had it, he quickly stood up from the couch and exhaled deeply from the frustration he was harboring.

"You ignored me for a fucking week." He brashly stated as she stared at him with a bit of discomfort, "You ignored me because I defended you from Abel."

"You fought Abel! I was embarrassed! I started it by confronting him I know but-"

"But what?" He shouted at her in frustration.

She began to tear up again, "But, but you drew more attention to me Maddox! Don't you know what it's like to date you?"

He slumped right back down onto the couch again and shook his head, "I can't believe I embarrass you."

She anxiously began to fidget her fingers around on her lap, "I get bullied everyday for being with you, girls are always saying how ugly I am compared to you and they always say how fat I am and how you could have anyone you want."

Maddox bit down on his lower lip because he knew how nasty the girls at their school could be. They always found a way to pick on Rosario ever since they had begun to date and he always knew it was because of him.

"I just hate having more attention being drawn to me." She admitted as she wiped a tear away from her cheek, "I'm sorry okay? I know you were trying to defend me but, I just, I have so much anxiety and insecurity and-"

Maddox stopped her from talking when he pulled her in for a hug.

She was so warm and always smelled like vanilla, hugging her always managed to calm him down and even she calmed down.

"You know I love you for you, that looks shit doesn't matter to me." He said softly by her ear. She clutched onto the back of his shirt and nodded her head.

"I love you for you too." She replied. It she didn't, she would've never had even begun to date him.

When Maddox let her go she smiled briefly as he wiped a tear off from her face.
