Jefferson's POV
-----------------------------------------------------------
Today was the start of midterms. I had already been up until 3 am studying, and I just wanted to finish this last exam for history so I could go back to the dorms and sleep. I sat down in the only other seat that was available. A seat next to Alexander. I glared at him for a moment then began my test. About forty five minutes later, I took a break from my test and looked out the window. The sky was darker than it usually was at this time of day, but the weatherman had said a storm would blow through, so it wasn't too surprising. I looked back down at my test. I had two more questions then I could leave the class.
I finished my test and began to walk out of the room. Just as I opened the door, a loud boom of thunder startled everyone. A few moments later, the intercom buzzed on." Hello King's College alumni. We regret to inform you that a severe weather advisory has been set for our area, and it has been deamed unsafe for students to cross campus and reach their dorms. All students will remain in the learning facilities until further notice. Thank you."
"Oh great," I thought as I slumped back down into my chair,"Now I'm stuck in here." I saw Alex raise his hand shakily." Mr. Washington, can I go to the bathroom?" Alex asked, his voice slightly hoarse." I guess," said the professor. Alex grabbed his phone and ran out the doors that led to the hallway. I could see tears in his eyes as he got up and left. I really hated him, but I knew he was afraid of storms, so I decided to check on him. I walked out the doors to find Alex.

I found Alex curled up in a ball, tears in his eyes, on the floor of the handicap stall. I slowly walked into the stall and knelt down." You probably shouldn't sit on those floors," I said, laughing slightly," more than just feet find their way onto them."
"I assume you're here to make fun of me." Alex looked up, tears still in his round almond brown eyes." No, sometimes I'm not a total dick."
Suddenly a bolt of lightning flashed and the lights went out. O could here Alex quietly subbing as I got out my phone and turned on the flashlight. I shined the light on Alex so I could see him. He was hidden in his oversized hoodie, silently crying." Hey, its okay," I said as I sat down next to him," I'm right here. You'll be fine, the storm won't hurt us, we're safe. How about I turn on some music so you can't here the thunder." I plugged in my ear buds and gave one to Alex. He took it and put it in his ear, and I turned up my playlist.
"Hey, your taste in music isn't too bad," he said, sniffling but not crying anymore. He curled up next to me and fell asleep on my lap. Surprisingly, I wasn't completely disgusted by him like I usually am. Actually, he looked kind of cute when he wasn't screaming or glaring at me. I put my arm around him and drifted off to sleep myself.
About a half hour later, I woke up and looked around. Alex was already awake and typing at neck breaking speeds on his laptop." Um, I guess I'm gonna go back to my dorm since the storm is over," I said as I grab my bag." Wait." Alex grabbed my arm, and I sat back down. Even though we were both sitting, he was still a lot shorter than me.
"You really helped me out," he said, looking up at me," if you wouldn't have helped me, I probably would've had a full blown panic attack."looked him in the eye, and I kissed his lips. I expected him to shy away, but he grabbed my neck and kissed me back. His lips were chapped but still soft, probably from the winter air. I slowly let go and gasped for breath.
"I'm sorry," I said," I probably shouldn't have done that here."
"You're right," he replied, a smirk on his face,"you should do it in my dorm instead. Here's my number." He handed me a small strip of paper as he grabbed his laptop and walked out. I stared at the wall in disbelief. I think I was just asked out by my sworn enemy.

OK.....so that was fun! I hope its good. Please give me feedback I definitely need it.
