A/N: Yall so this might be the last chapter of this book, bc I feel like I'm just dragging out the plot at this point, but if you want I can write an epilogue for this story or start another jamilton book or a book with another ship. Thank you guys Soooo much for reading, writing these stories and reading the comments makes me so happy and it's tbh the best part of my day. Thomas' POV

     "I'm telling you Alex, it's impossible!"
     "No it's not! I've seen Peggy do it!"
     "I doubt Peggy is even human. Come on, you're gonna hurt yourself!"
     Alex stomped his foot stubbornly, his arm twisted at an odd angle as he attempted to lick his elbow. Before I could try again to convince him to stop, the phone rang. I picked up the phone to see Washington's contact come up, and quickly answered it.
     "Hi, Mr. Washington, it's nice to hear from you," I said, "what do you need?"
     "Well, I don't need anything. Here I'll let you talk to John's sister, Lily."
     After a brief pause, Lily's voice blared from the other line. "Hi, Thomas, it's Lily, but I guess you already knew that."
     "Hi Lily, what do you need?"
     "Well, um, next week's my sixteenth birthday, and I wanted to do something special. I remember on my tenth birthday, John took me to an amusement park called Carowinds in South Carolina. It was the best birthday I've ever had, and maybe my only please tell childhood memories! We all sneaked out of the house when dad left for work, and stayed out until we had to go home. So, I was wondering if you could get everyone to come with us. I figured if John's friends were with us, it would feel like he was, y'know? "
     "I'll see what I can do, Lily, okay, bye."
     "Who was that?" Alex finally stopped trying to lick his elbow and walked over to me.
     "It was Lily," I said, "and we're going to south Carolina.

     After a week of planning and a lot of complaints from Alex about the heat, we were all standing in front of the amusement park, excitement buzzing throughout the group.  "It's hot as balls here."
     "Language, Alex," I hissed at him. He muttered an apology and continued to walk towards the park.
     "This is so surreal," Peggy muttered to Alex and I, "John told me that he would take me here one day. I can't believe I'm actually here now. It's almost like he's with us."
     Lily ran up to us, a nervous expression on her face, and turned to me. "psst, Thomas, who's that?" she pointed to Theodosia.
     "Oh, and that's Theo," I shrugged, "she's Phillip's friend."
     "Um, I think I might be a little gay, Thommy."
     "A little?"
     "Okay a lot. What do I do?"
     "Talk to her!" I laughed, "see if you two hit it off!"

Lily nodded nervously and walked up to her, and I sighed to Alex. "Ah, young love in the air."
