Alex's POV
-----------------------------------------------------------

"You ready for this?" I asked Thomas, straightening the handkerchief in his suit pocket. It was finally the day of Herc and Laf's wedding.
"Of course I'm ready," he scoffed, re-tying my bow tie, "I mean, how hard can this be? We're not the ones getting married."
"You take Herc, I'll try to help Laf," I said. He nodded, and we walked in, thinking we were prepared.
Spoiler alert: we were definitely not ready.

I walked into Laf's dressing room and would've walked right out again, if they wouldn't have been my best friend. The dressing room was in absolute chaos. The Schuyler sister and Maria were in a corner, all attempting to share a curling iron. Laf was running around the room, dress on but not zipped, hair still a poof resting on their head and sticking out at weird angles. They saw me come in and engulfed me in a hug, almost knocking me down.
"Thank god you're here," he blurted out, "the hair and makeup artist canceled, and these excuses for bridesmaids aren't exactly helping."
"Hey," yelled Maria from across the room, "I offered to do your hair in a beehive. You just refused."
Laf slumped into a chair, tears rolling down their cheeks. "It was supposed to be perfect," he whispered.
"Alright, enough!" I screamed, grabbing the attention of the bridesmaids, "now listen up and put down the damn curling iron. Peggy, you braid Laf's hair. Angelica, you're on makeup duty. Eliza, zip up Laf's dress, then you and Maria can both try to find the bouquets."
"Sir yes sir," Peggy said with mock respect, soluting me. I laughed, and we got to work.

Thomas' POV
-----------------------------------------------------------

I walked in to see Herc, along with James and Burr, the other groomsmen, dancing around, freestyle rapping with their casual clothes still on.
"What in the hell," I muttered, walking into the room.
"Oh, uh, sorry Thomas," Herc muttered, "I was feeling nervous, and Aaron thought this would be a good way to make me feel better."
"I agree," I said, "but the wedding starts in an hour, and I'm sure Laf would be a little disappointed if his groom waltzed out in sweatpants and a family guy hoodie."
Everyone nodded in agreement, and I got to work.

Alex's POV
-----------------------------------------------------------

"Perfect," Peggy breathed, admiring the intricate braid that now contained Laf's hair.
"It's been almost forty five minutes," angelica stated, applying mascara carefully to Laf's lashes, "Eliza and Maria should be back soon with the bouquets."
As if on cue, Eliza came in, looking slightly disheveled, but carrying the bouquets.
"What took you so long?" I exclaimed, "the wedding is starting in fifteen minutes!"
"Sorry," Eliza mumbled, "I had to take care of some other stuff.
Maria waltzed in, also looking a little rough, wearing a smirk on her face. "We were fucking," she stated plainly, earning giggles from Peggy and a protective glare from Angie.
"That was more we needed to know," I said, raising my hands, "but let's get ready. We're about to have a wedding."
Thomas, Burr, and James walked in, fully ready in their suits, and prepared to line up.
Thomas walked up to me and leaned into my ear. "Next time, tell Eliza and Maria to be more quiet," he whispered. I giggled and linked my arm with his, and we prepared for what was about to happen.

A/N: sorry this is short but I really wanted to update. Next time I'll finish the wedding and maybe actually do something with the marliza ship. Ok hope y'all like it BYE!
