Alex's POV (warning gay slur)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Timeskip a few days later

It had started to rain so I was already feeling a little on edge, but Thomas convinced me to walk around in the courtyard. We grabbed an umbrella and hand in hand, walked into the courtyard.
"Hey, let me hold it," I said, grabbing for the umbrella. "Stop Alex," said Thomas, giggling to himself, "if you hold it, I'll be too tall to fit underneath and my hair will get all wet." He fluffed up his hair and continued to walk.
I snatched the umbrella and stood on my toes, my arm in the air, so Thomas could fit under it. "Okay, I stand corrected," Thomas said, sounding slightly impressed, "but it would be a lot easier if I held it." I reluctantly gave him the umbrella back and put my arm around his.
Then Aaron started walking towards us, a smug look on his face. "Well if it isn't the biggest fags on campus," he said, snickering at us.
"Leave Alex alone," thomas said, practically shaking with anger, "let's go." He began to lead me away from him, but Aaron followed us.
"Better get a leash for your boyfriend," taunted Aaron, "unless he's all bark and no bite."
"Alex, don't do anything you'll regret." Thomas looked me straight in the eye.
"Don't worry," I said, breaking away from him." I won't regret this." I walked over to Aaron and threw a punch. I was aiming for his eye, but I missed and hit his jaw instead. He came right back up and punched me in the eye, knocking me to the ground. I landed on my wrist with a sickening crack. He got on top of me and took a few more swings at me. I could feel small cuts on my face. Burr must've had a ring on. Suddenly, the punching stopped. I looked up to see Thomas pushing Aaron away from me.
He picked me up off the ground and began to carry me back to the dorm. As I looked back I could see a bruise start to form on Aarons jaw where I had punched him. Maybe he would think the next time he called me or Thomas fags.

Thomas' POV
-----------------------------------------------------------

I layer Alex out on his bed and got out the first aid kit as I called herc and laf to come to Alex's dorm." Hey, Alex got in a fight with Burr. Can you guys get over here?" I asked, getting out a packet of alcohol wipes. "We'll be right over," herc replied before hanging up.
"Sorry, Alex," I said, opening the alcohol pad,"but this is really gonna sting." He winced as I cleaned all the tiny cuts on his face. After I was finished cleaning the cuts, I looked at his other injuries. His left eye was swollen and bruised, so he would probably have a black eye for a few weeks. His nose had blood running from it, but it wasn't broken, only a nosebleed. Then I looked down, and my stomach dropped. His hand was twisted in a way that definitely wasn't natural.
"Alex," I said warily, pointing down at his wrist. He followed my eyes, and I saw the blood drain out of his face. Just then, herc and laf burst in.
"Where's burr?" Herc demanded, shaking with anger, "I'm gonna kill'em!"
"Um, what Mon Ami means to ask," laf said, putting a hand on hercs shoulder, "is if Alex is okay."
"He's okay," I said, "but I think he broke his wrist." I looked down at Alex as he nodded frantically. "Let's drive him in my SUV," herc said, still obviously angry. I helped Alex get up.as we walked to hercs SUV.

OK that was fun. This chapter was a little bit shorter but it had a lot of action. Enjoy!
