The first few minutes of the walk was silent. Not only that we have no topic to talk about but everytime we talk or make any noise the guard dogs of every house bark as if there's no tomorrow. Sendoh almost had a heart attack.
There were no cars on the road, no people, no cyclists, no nothing. Just the stars, the night sky, and the chilly breeze.
The beach is about a kilometer away from my house. On the way there you can pass through a lot of stores, and Sendoh stopped for a moment to buy something at a convenience store. I'm amazed at people who can work at night, like those employees that have jobs at 24/7 branches of any establishment.
I waited at a stool inside the store and watched where he was headed. I first told him that I didn't want any, since he insisted on treating me, so I'm glad I convinced him. When he was finished paying for it, he stood beside me, flaunting a can of beer that he bought.
"You want to taste it?"
"No, I'm fine."
"You sure?" He said as he opened it, taking a gulp later on.
