"Fine weather we're having, right Sendoh-kun? Even if it's snowing...."
I looked up to the direction of the voice, and it was from the girl who was sitting beside me.
Wait.... it's been a while since I have a classmate who sat beside me.... Is she a transferee? Or maybe she just decided to go to school after all this time?
"Yeah...."
Oh.... this was the girl who talked to me yesterday, from the cheering team. What was her name again? It has a C and an H. Chiaki? Chikara? Chibami??
"Good morning, Sendoh-kun." Says she, smiling from ear to ear.
Yeah, that's right. I got it!
"Good morning, Chidori." I replied, her smile turning into a frown after hearing what I said.
I didn't say anything wrong, did I?
"You really don't remember me, Sendoh-kun?"
"No." I replied bluntly.
"Really?" Dismay now clouded her eyes.
I nodded.
"I've sat beside you ever since we're both freshmen, and you've no idea who I am." She narrowed her eyes at me, crossing her arms.
I took a sharp inhale, then blinked fast.
"Really. I don't remember who you are, but your face just looked familiar."
There's a tone of vexation and apology in my voice. I really don't need to explain myself why I have no clear memory of this girl. It's just that I tend to forget people who have no significance.
