Snow drifted off gently in whorls as the moon inched itself slowly into the sky. Snowflakes of different patterns ornamented our hair, only to melt away when we try to hold it between our fingers.

"Well, this is my house, Yan-chan." Yoko proudly says as her glasses slid down the bridge of her nose, and she pushed it back up.

It was just a simple two-storey house adorned with many lights and Christmas decorations.

"Let's go inside, I'm freezing."

There she went, charging into the snow as I lag behind her.

Then, a woman came into view. Short and slim with salt and pepper hair, a messy bun laid perfectly on the base of her neck. Messy strands of hair sprang from her scalp.

She was carrying a baking tray and with a quick whiff the air started to smell like chocolates and cinnamon.
