"Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy! Hurry up or you're going to be late for the train." You called up the stairs for the hundredth time that day.
The young blonde boy came bounding down the stairs as your husband, Draco, followed after him with a large dark green and grey trunk.

It was Scorpius' first year at Hogwarts and you were about to leave for the station. He was extremely excited but also very nervous, being a Malfoy and not yet having any friends. But you knew he would settle in fine; he was such a lovely kid. You made sure you had raised him in the compleat opposite way that you and Draco had been raised. You taught your son to accept muggle borns and not look at anyone differently if they weren't pure blood like he was. You were proud of your son and how caring he really was.

Hurrying the two boys out of the house, Draco picked the trunk up and slipped it into the boot of the shiny, spotless black car. The three of you piled into the old motor before you drove to London. In a muggle car it would have taken around 2 hours, probably longer given the continued traffic on the M25. But not in your car. You got there in just under 30 minutes, giving you 20 minutes until the train actually left. You helped Scorpius place his trunk on a trolley and the three of you began walking through the busy station.
Draco snaked his arm around your waist as you both walked to platform 9 together.

As you got to the archway between platforms 9 and 10 Draco stopped his son to explain to him how to get through to the other side.
"What if I don't run at it fast enough?" Scorpius panicked, a look of utter worry plastered his face.
Draco shook his head. "You will. I promise." He reassured.
But Scorpius wasn't convinced. "But what if I don't though. People will laugh at me." He worried.
Draco looked round to see if anyone was looking. "Come here. Sit on your trunk and hold on. I'll push you." He suggested.
Scorpius smiled widely, enjoying the thrill and attention. He sat on top of his luggage and Draco ran through the wall. You followed close behind, seeing your son hopping off the trolley to resume pushing it himself.

Draco reconnected his arm with your waist and kissed your cheek. "You're so sweet. You know that." You told him, referring to the way he made his son feel more comfortable.
He just stared down at you as you pushed your way down the platform to get to where Scorpius had stopped. "Dad. I'm going to be in Slytherin, right?" He asked, the same worry as before reemerging on his pale face. "Because I just really want to be in Slytherin." He confessed, looking down at his shoes.
Draco crouched down to his sons level and placed a comforting hand on his small shoulder. "Scorpius Malfoy. You are part of one of the longest running pure blood family's in the whole of England. If you don't get into Slytherin, it just means the house wasn't right for you. But that's okay. Although, the hat does take your preference into consideration." Draco reassured him as Scorpius wrapped his short arms around his father.
A few moments later a whistle was blown, signalling every student must be getting in the train. Your son walked over to you and you hugged him tight. "I'll miss you mum. Will you write to me? Every week." He asked. His voice was sad but he was still exited about going to school.
"Of course I will." You told him, kissing the top of his head. Scorpius said his final goodbyes and Draco helped him lift his trunk onto the train. As Scorpius disappeared into the centre of the train, you saw he sat alone, looking out the window.

You began to see a familiar face approaching you both and turned to view the famous Harry Potter strolling towards you. "So Malfoy. I see your pure blood line is still running strong." He snarled at the two of you.
"Just let it go Potter. Let's just act like adults. If not for yourself, for your children." Draco proposed, entirely fed up of the arguments.
Harry scowled at the blonde. "Fine. But if your boy goes anywhere near Albus, I swear." Harry began before you started chuckling to yourself.
The two boys looked at you as you faced the train, watching Albus sit down in the compartment with Scorpius. Harry turned to see what you were smiling at and his jaw dropped.
He quickly marched his way back to his wife, Ginny as you continued to smile at your son finally making friends.
You and Draco didn't mind who he was friends with, just as long as he was happy.

The train began pulling out of the station as a conductor on the platform blew his loud whistle. The noise screeched like an owl and echoes through the bustling station. You saw Scorpius turn to face you as the train rolled away. He waved franticly, his smile wide.
As the train got further away, Draco engulfed you into a bone crushing hug from behind you. Kissing your cheek softly he sighed realising his little boy was growing up so fast.
"I'm going to miss him. Can it be Christmas already please." You mumbled sadly.
Draco squeezed you tighter as he whispered in your ear. "Well we have about 4 months of alone time. We could go and make another one." He kissed your neck and you turned to him smirking.
Your eyes flickered between his lips and his eyes like you had never kissed him before, until he placed his lips on yours. "Let's go home." He muttered against your sweet lips. You nodded, getting evil glares from the Potters and Weasleys.
Striding hand in hand out of the station, you smiled, wondering how you got so luck to have Draco in your life.
