Draco stood there as he disconnected the phone call and twisted round to face the person pocking him in the back. Standing in front of him was a girl of his age, with shimmering (Y/H/C) hair and twinkling eyes that sparkled like the stars in the night sky. They were complex but absolutely beautiful, exactly like she had told him.
"Hi." Draco greeted as you looked up at him in awe.
He was handsome. He wasn't lying about that. His platinum blonde hair shon in the sunlight and his kind grey eyes became larger at the sight of you. He was slightly taller than you but he didn't lomb overhead. "Hey." You smiled, astonished at the very British nature of his voice. He sounded upper class, but also as though he had been around middle and working class people for the majority of his life. He defiantly didn't go to Oxford or Cambridge.

Before you could study anything else about the boy, his arms were around you like he said they would be. The hug was warm and protective. It was also as though he couldn't wait any longer to just wrap his arms around your small frame.
As you hugged him back, people around you bumped into the two of you unexpectedly, trying to get down the road. "I think we might just be in the way." Draco pointed out, mumbling into your ear as he felt another persons arm collide with his back.
You nodded, finally pulling out of his embrace. "Shall we go to The Leaky Cauldron?" You suggested.
Draco beamed. "Sure. But no alcohol. I think I'll pass out if I drink anything now." He told you with a smile as you giggled at his response.

Draco found you fascinating. He had never met an intelligent, kind, funny girl quite like you. He knew he liked you when you just texted each other. But meeting you in real life had confirmed this for him. The way you giggled sent butterfly's to erupt in Draco's stomach at the sweet sound that passed your lips. Draco was falling for you, hard and fast. But he was keeping it together quite nicely.
Once you both got to The Leaky Cauldron, you sat down and ordered two non-alcoholic drinks. "So, what brought you to Diagon Alley?" Draco asked, sitting opposite with his attention firmly on you.
You just shrugged. "I fancied buying some new ink. There are some really beautiful new ones that I can't stop looking at." You began, getting extremely excited about the liquid. Draco began chuckling at your enthusiasm for stationary and art. "But you know. It's just ink, so, whatever." You tried to pretended as though you didn't care, but in reality, you were extremely excited to try out your new ink that changed colour depending on the tone of the sky when you use it.
Your friend laughed. "No. You're excited. It's sweet. I could picture you being enthused over art supplies." He told you.
You rolled your eyes. "Okay Mr 'I have everything'. It's a special moment when I can buy pretty ink." You chuckled back.

As the drinks were delivered, you sipped them at a steady pace, wanting to make the moment together last as long as possible. You got to know him some more, realising you both had lived in the same town until you moved when you were 17. "So why did you never go to Hogwarts?" Draco enquiries with intrigue.
You sighed. "Mum." You stated. "She wanted to teach me everything. And I learnt a lot, but I didn't know many people. I had one non-muggle friend but then she buggered off to Australia."
Draco almost spat out his drink with the way you worded the sentence. "Well, your mum taught you well. But it would have been nice to know you growing up." He confessed.
You nodded. "I would have loved to see mini Malfoy running around Hogwarts with his posh old broomstick." You told him, giggling at the though.
Draco shook his head. "Oh no. I didn't run anywhere. I strut!"
You were almost in the floor with laughter imagining a small version of the boy in front of you, strutting like a superior around the castle with a broomstick almost twice his height. "Hey, it's not funny. It's true. I was obviously the best in the school. But Potter was always there to mess things up." He spoke bitterly about the boy you had heard so much about.
Nodding, you spoke once more. "Sure my dear. Sure." You reassured sarcastically.

Once you had both finished your drinks, you decided to leave the pub as it was getting a bit noisier than before. Walking back out onto Diagon Alley, Draco's friends instantly approached him. "Where in Merlins name have you been?" A rather stocky boy asked.
Draco bit his lip as you stood beside him timidly. "Guys, this is (Y/N)." Draco introduced, clearing his throat.
The 4 friends looked astonished before a tall boy at the back spoke up. "You mean the one that you have been texting for like 6 months." He beamed.
"Well it's actually 5 months but-" Draco began before he was cut of by another boy.
"Bloody hell. I thought you were making her up." One spoke.
Another shook his head. "No I saw the texts last night when he was sat on the floor." The group, plus yourself, laughed at Draco's drunken state.
The blonde boy rolled his eyes. "Okay. Yes, fine. Thank you. I'll meet you guys back at Borgin's in 5 minutes." He told them, trying to encourage the group to leave the two of you alone for a moment.
"Okay. Goodbye (Y/N)." The boys waved as they walked down Knockturn Alley.

"Wow. Going to the creepy blokes shop to buy creepy furniture for your creepy house?" You jokingly asked as his friends disappeared down the eerie side street.
Draco smirked. "I have all the creepy shit I need thanks." He jibed.
You chuckled as he slipped one of his hands into yours. "(Y/N). Would it be okay if we did this again. You are a truly wonderful woman. Extraordinarily beautiful too." He asked with a hint less confidence than you thought he would have.
You nodded. "I'd love to. It has been so lovely meeting you finally." You told him, smiling up at his perfect grey eyes.
Draco agreed. "It has. But I best be off. I'll text you and we can arrange something."
You simply nodded, not wanting to ruin the moment with fumbling words. Draco leant down and placed a soft kiss onto your cheek before he smiled at your shy demeanour and waved goodbye. You already couldn't wait to see him again. He was an intriguing boy that you couldn't wait to get to know.
