"It's gonna be okay you poor guy. Everything's gonna be alright soon."

"How do you know?"

"Because, it has to. Life is pretty cyclic. Once a bad part passes, it gets followed by a good one. It's only a matter of time. For now, we've just gotta wait for the good part. But, while you're still in the bad, just remember Jayy, he was a bastard. He doesn't deserve to have affected you this horribly. He's a cheater and he's just not worth hurting over."

He rested and sighed. "I wish that was true. Why can't I just rewind and never fall in love with him?"

"You can't control who you fall in love with Jayy. It wasn't your fault," I said, ignoring the lack of logic in rewinding life. Jayy didn't need logic right now, he needed comfort.

He nodded. "I guess you're right...But still. I wish I could do 'something' to make this go away."

"I know it. Ya know, the best thing you can do is take the time you need to deal with the initial pain, then go face the world. You don't have to be alone just because you're hurt."

"I'm not alone, you're here!" he said playfully.

But I could tell it was forced. I could tell that he was being cute to try and prove that he was fine.

"Jayy, I know you didn't recover that quickly and I'm not asking you to. But just take baby steps."

"Like what?" he sounded kind of ticked off, but not majorly so.

"Like go out there for a minute or two, just long enough for me to make something for you to eat-"

"For 'us' to eat." he growled. He'd been making damn sure that I was eating still this whole time.

"For us to eat," I agreed. "Let them know how you are. I'll go out there beforehand and tell them not to hound you if you want. If you still don't wanna stay out there, you don't have to. Then again, you don't 'have' to do anything. It's just an idea."

He sighed. "Well I guess there's no harm in showing my face. We're on tour, I'm gonna have to get up soon for a concert anyway."

"You're gonna do the next show?"

"I have to. I love our fans and 'they' didn't break up with me. They're the most important thing right now."

I nodded. "So, will you try...?" I asked nervously. He was pretty irritated right now and I wasn't exactly sure how safe I was. I knew rationally he wouldn't hurt me...but Jayy's still pretty intimidating.

He sighed again and spoke, gently this time. "I'm sorry I snapped like that. I'm not mad at 'you' so I shouldn't be taking it out on the person who's been dealing with my shit day and night trying to help. I'm sorry." He hugged me. "And thank you for trying to help me get through this. You're doing a great job," he said sincerely.

I forced a smile for him and he cuddled me. "It's okay..."

"I really didn't mean it Hunter. I'm sorry."

"It's alright... So, do you wanna try?"

"I don't necessarily 'want' to, but, for you, I will."

I hugged him tightly, but not too tightly and cuddled. "Thank you!"

He smiled, chuckling under his breath at me. "You're welcome sweetie." When I didn't move, he smirked. "Well, c'mon. Let's go get this over with. Please go ask them to not attack me with questions though..."

I nodded and walked out into the main room of the bus.

"Hey Hunter, how's he doin'?" Dahvie asked. "Shouldn't you be in there with him?"

"Well, he agreed to try and come out for a few minutes whilst I make food, but I wanted to ask you guys to please not interrogate him. He's hurting and getting asked a lot of questions about it is going to push him into a corner. Just stay casual about it and save the more detailed questions for when he can handle them better, okay?"

Dahvie and the others nodded calmly.

"Alright, I'll go get him. If he wants to stay after I make food, then we will, but, for now, I'll be happy if he can handle being out for a few minutes."

"I understand. And, thank you for getting him to do this. It means a lot to see him, even if it's just for a minute."

"No problem Dahv. Just keep that in mind, okay?"

He nodded and I went to get Jayy. He wasn't in his bed, but the bathroom door was closed. I went over and knocked.

"Just gettin' dressed babe. Don't worry. I'll be out in a minute."

"Alright, making sure." I went back to his bunk and jumped up, waiting. He came out, looking like his normal sexy self, just a little hurt. "Hey Jayy-bears."

"Hey sweetie. C'mon." We walked into the main room and Jayy plopped on the couch. He was acting okay for their sake, but I tried to ignore it.

At least he was out here. At least he was trying. That was good.

I went into the kitchen and started to make something for us and everyone tried to keep casual while still checking on him. When I was done, I looked over to see if he wanted to stay out here with everybody. He caught my eye and nodded and I made enough food for the bus.

I walked out, making two trips with the plates and then went back for mine and Jayy's and he nodded me next to him and I sat there.

He rested his arm around me and mumbled in my ear. "I'm not fakin' it as much as ya think. I feel a little better being back in the swing of things."

Jayy sat back, his arm resting on the top of the couch behind me and spoke to everyone. "So show's tomorrow?"

"Yep," Dahvie said. "Ya gonna be alright for it?"

"I'm damn well gonna try." Jayy looked set in his role, he was really trying to show no fear or hurt. He was trying to hide everything.
