Jayy slipped him arm around my shoulders and we walked onto the stage and finished the soundcheck. We didn't have much time to chill between the soundcheck and the show as we normally would've because I had to take a break, but I didn't need it. I didn't really even 'want' it.

Honestly, I just wanted the show to get over with so I could go cuddle Jayy and relax. My stomach hurt and I was a little overheated. I was hoping it was just from the stagelights, but I had my doubts. And I was feeling sicker and hotter and, in general, 'worse' every minute.

Dahvie looked over as the fans started to be let into the venue. "You all good?"

"Yeah..." I said weakly. The more I argued, the less sure I was of my point.

Jayy gently kissed me, giving me something foreign to focus on. I kissed back, resting a hand on his shoulder, as his neck was too hard to reach. He chuckled in the back of his throat and, still kissing me, bent down a little.

Fans screamed. I pulled back and blushed. "Shit..."

Jayy laughed. "Sorry, that's all we can show you guys!"

"You knew they were coming in?"

"Well yeah, but what's it matter? I needed to help you relax and get the color back in your face so the fans didn't worry. But it seems I surpassed simple 'color' and made you full-on blush."

I whimpered. "Either way." I walked off backstage.

Jayy laughed and looked to the crowd. "Just a sec," he called out to them.

He came backstage. "Honey, c'mere, I'm sorry."

I looked up and sighed. "I'm not mad, I went back so you guys could play your songs."

He chuckled. "Well we've gotta introduce you to the crowd."

"Again?"

"Every show babe. Just until the end of this tour, then those who don't know will've had time to find out through the Internet or some other way. As long as you're okay with that...? I didn't mean to assume..."

"Babe, it's chill. Relax." I went to peck his cheek and then I sighed and moved back.

"What? Did I do somethin'?"

"No, it's just I really don't want you to catch whatever it is I have..."

He nodded. "Well let's get this show goin' then, okay? And if you don't feel great, tell me or Dahv kay?"

I whimpered softly. "Oh you poor thing," he said, chuckling. "I'm sorry you're sick."

He went to rest a wet washcloth on my forehead, but I pushed his arm away. "I-I'm fine," I said weakly, attempting to sit up.

"Oh c'mon. Just let me help you angel." He sat down next to me and kissed my forehead, then gently laid me down and rested the washcloth on my head.

"Jayy, you've done everything for me. You've done enough. You don't have to keep doing this baby."

"What have I done for you that you haven't 100% paid me back for, two times over?"

"Well, you got me out of 'there'..." I muttered under my breath. Apparently, not quite under 'enough'.

"Hunter...? What 'happened' in that house?" he asked. He seemed like he was trying to hold back his irritation, but it wasn't working. It seeped through his soft tone.

"N-Nothing."

He let out a deep sigh. "Y'alright?" he deadpanned.

"Yeah..." I said, looking down. "Now I am," I added under my breath.

Jayy sighed and put his arm around me gently. "Alright..." He gave up.
