Yes, Jerome. You are perfect.
Sorry guys.Catwoman's P.O.V:
I sat down with Bruce. I wondered why he wanted me to sit with him. But of course I couldn't say no to that face.
I had to sit down between him and Grayson. Bruce sat with the goody-goody, Barbara. I mentally growled but I just fake smiled at her. She smiled back. I glanced at Grayson.
"Hey! Eyes are up here, buddy." I snapped coldly. He glared at me. I turned to look at the handsome billionaire sitting on my other side.
"So what do you want me for, Bruce?" His name felt so right on my tongue. Why did he have to be on the good side?!
"Well, Selina" I shivered when he said my name but no one noticed. His next words surprised me. "We-I want you to be good. Don't be a bad guy anymore. It might have its advantages. But think about it's cons." Then he added in such a low voice no one heard him but me. "What about us?"
Oh. My. God! Did he just say that?! Did Bruce Wayne, my crush, just freakin say that?! I stared at him, my mouth slightly open in surprise. Did he like me too?! Did he know I liked him? Tons of questions flooded my mind but this little kitty cat held her tongue.
Then he added in a voice so everyone at the table could hear him again, "it's not so bad on our side. And I promise no one will judge you. Okay?" I knew that was a lie. Every villain and even some of the good guys would definitely judge me. But I didn't say anything.
"I promise." He repeated. I almost believed him, that's how good his acting was. I mentally sighed. He didn't like me. I'm so stupid.
"I should go." Is all I said. I stood u to leave. But he grabbed my arm.
"Please, Selina. We want you on our side. I want you on our side." Then he added in a low voice quiet enough so I could barely hear him he said, "I want you." It was a desperate, pleading tone. And I believed him. My heard skipped a beat and I smiled.
"Yeah. Okay, I'll join 'your side'." I said. And I sat back down. "
"Good." He said and let me go. I smirked.
"On one condition."
Harley's P.O.V:
I was staring at the table, wondering. Traitor? What did that mean? Surely Kitty wasn't going to go over to their 'goody-two-shoe side', was she? I glanced over at her. She and Bruce were talking. I looked back down at the table.
I sighed then looked up. Puddin was talking quietly with Riddler. I could see their mouths moving quickly but couldn't catch any words. Ivy and still kissing Two-face. God! Do they even need air?!
And Scarecrow was.... staring at me. I could see his eyes. Not clearly but I could read what was in them. Curiosity. I stared back. He didn't look away, ashamed, or even blink. We just stared at each other. Finally, I broke our eyes contact when I felt Puddin's arm around my waist.
"What is it, Puddin?" I asked.
"Put his on." He gave me a... gas mask. I bit my lip but obeyed.
As soon as I put it on I asked. "What is it for, Puddin?"
"Shut up, Harley!" He said, annoyed. I shut my mouth and just rocked back and forth. He put one on and looked at the clock hanging on the wall. He then started counting backwards.
"3....2.....1!"
Riddler's voice filled the speaker. I looked at his seat but he wasn't there.
"Hello, ladies and Gents! I have filled every single crook and cranny of this school except the cafeteria with knock-out gas! So don't try to escape. We will be doing this every Friday! So be prepared! But beware. Everytime it will be a different gas! We'll start off easy! Then the last Friday of the school year will be your worst nightmare! We might even throw in some The Joker's own Joker toxin or Scarecrows fear gas!" I looked at Puddin. Joker toxin? But he wasn't looking at me. Everyone was either looking at Scarecrow or Joker. Scarecrow was looking at our masks.
"But hey! Who knows? Oh, wait, I do!" I heard Eddie chuckle. "We will be doing this just to test their gases so Joker and Scarecrow, your welcome!" Puddin rolled his eyes. "Well enough of that! Let's try out Test 1 of The Joker's Joker gas! Or toxin. He didn't know what to call it!"
Everyone was looking at Joker now. A ton launched themselves out of their seats in order to get our gas masks. Some ran towards the entrance. Better to be knocked out then gassed by my Puddin. Too late.
Green gas filled the room. Everyone fell to their knees, coughing, except for me and Puddin. Some burst out in giggles.
It took a second for me to realise that my eyes were watering and my throat felt dry. I looked around, but the gas was too thick and I couldn't see my Puddin. He had gotten up and started looking and walking around but I couldn't see where.
I tried to take a gulp of breath from my mask. But I realized I couldn't. I felt my eyes widening. I tried again. Nothing happened except for me trying to take more and more deep breaths.
"Puddin! Help me!" I screamed. But it was muffled by the mask.
I couldn't breathe.
