Chapter 28: He Dared

Ivy's P.O.V:

Ooooohh I was so mad! How could she?! She snuck off in the middle of the night with him! What if something bad happened to her while they were out? What if he did something to her?!

"Shut up. Don't even begin talking, Joker. And Harleen do not dare interupt me." I said through clenched teeth.

She showed all signs of interupting so I continued quickly.

"What were you thinking, Harley?! You could have been killed! Me and Selina are your friends! We're just trying to help." I said smoothly.

"And like I said before. I don't ne-" Catwoman cut her off.

"Harley. Please. Why must you make it so complicated? He's no good for you." She said quietly and a little sadly.

"I don't care!" And she burst into tears and ran into the bathroom. I heard a click, indicating that she locked it. I mentally sighed in annoyance.

Joker gritted his teeth. I scowled at him.

"See what you people do? You make poor, innocent, girls cry." He said in a bored voice. Then he smiled. I felt goosebumps.

"You made my Harley cry. Again." He began scowling. "All I want is to make sure she always smiles! Is that so bad?!" He growled.

"Yes. It is. Because I know you'll do more than just 'make her smile." I snapped back.

"How could you think so low of me, plant? I feel very insulted." He said darkly. When he said very his tone changed. It was now murderous.

Selina hissed and backed up. I tensed. Then my cheek stung and I felt Selina gasp besides me. My hand flitted over to my cheek to inspect it. I felt something wet and warm. I looked at my finger. It was covered with dark crismon liquid. I looked over at Selina. She had a slash down her cheek as well. From her eye to her chin. I had a feeling it was just like mine.

I turned to him. "How dare you!" Slipped from my mouth.

Then it went dark.
