Harley's P.O.V:

I woke up in his dorm. Again. Ugh! I was about to scream in frustration! Why wouldn't he just let me go?!

"Ah.... So your awake. Good. I thought you died since you got hit twice in the head. No head damage then, eh?"

I just glared at him. He wasn't gonna get a reaction outta me.

He just stared back. "What's wrong, Harls? I didn't offend you did I?" His tone was teasing but I thought I saw a flash of something in his eyes. Worried? Nervous? Nah. I'm sure it was nothing but the light reflecting on them. He turned away, hiding his face. For some reason I felt blood rushing to my cheeks. Was I blushing?! No! No way! I hid my face as well.

We sat there in awkward silence for what felt like hours. I finally broke it.

"Don't call me Harls. Only my friends call me that."

He looked at me, faking a hurt expression. "Oh and I'm not your friend, baby?"

That's. IT! I wipped around and lunged at him. He dodged and put a foot out. I tripped and fell on the bed. I growled and got up, facing him.

He looked back smugly, a smile dancing on his lips. I glowered. He burst out laughing. My scowl disappeared, replaced with shock. He clutched at his sides as I took a wary step back. He finally stopped and raised his hand to run through his hair.

I didn't think. On instinct I ducked a little with my arm rising up in front of my face to protect my face, waiting for the impact.

He gently grabbed my arm and lowered it, his expression confused.

"what was that?"

"N-nothing... " I won't tell him anything. It's my business.

"Harley. It was something. What was it?"

"I said nothing!" I snapped and jerked my arm free.

He didn't press it but kept sending curious glances my way.

I sighed. "Look. Just mind your own businesses. Alright Jack?" I asked softly.

He nodded. "Okay. Fine."

I sighed again. Then added more softly, "just let me go to my Pu-"

"No." He said sternly. "No way. Too dangerous."

I just gazed at him sadly. "Please?" I whispered. I felt so tired. Not in I want to go to sleep way, just... I sighed and my shoulders sagged. There was no point in arguing.

I guess he was shocked by my reaction, that he expected me to argue. I looked away and felt tears in my eyes. Great. Now I was crying. I took a deep breath and wiped my eyes. I turned to look at him. He looked guilty. Did he see me cry?!

He sighed. "Don't cry. You can go."

My head snapped up. "What?"

"Go."

I didn't need telling twice. I jumped up and ran out the door to the cafeteria.

Jokers P.O.V:

I walked back to my dorm. I had left as soon as the gas had started to clear out. Didn't wanna deal with all those people.

I walked in and looked around. Okay. So Harley isn't here either. Where is she?! I told her to stay and she disobeyed me! Next time I see that girl I'm going to-

The door creaked open. I spun around. In stepped Harley. I blinked. Then smiled.

"Harleyyyy! I missed you so much, pumpkin!"

She smiled back and ran towards me, arms outstretched to embrace me. I waited until she came close enough.

SMACK

She flew back and landed on her side on the floor. She looked startled.

"What is wrong with you, Harley?! Why can't you just listen and do something right for once?! Your such a disappointment."

She looked up at me, tears beginning to form.

"I-im so S-sorry Puddin... I-" She broke off when I took a step forward.

I forced the words through gritted teeth. "Don't. Call. Me. PUDDIN!"

She scrambled back so her back was against the wall. "P-please... "

"Shut up!" She obeyed. I took a deep breath and repeated softly, looking into her eyes.

"Such a disappointment...."

Her gaze drifted to the floor, ashamed.

I shook my head. No, Harley. Sorry won't do it. Not this time.
