Cassandra is on the side! If you know her, good for you! :D Hope you enjoy this chapter!

I rubbed my sweater sleeve slowly, pretending to look off into space. There was a woman who had red long hair, green dark eyes, and probably in her late 20s. Her room was a light green with a few pictures next to her desk. There was corny, inspiring words painted in rainbow colors. I don't know whether to barf or laugh. The woman was scribbling on her little notebook and mumbling a few words under her breath.

As she was doing that, I turned my head to see a picture of her, a man holding her waist, and two boys next to each other. One had brown hair and grey eyes and he was smiling. The boy next to him was holding his waist and he had brown eyes and brown hair, smiling a little goofy than the rest of the them. The man next to the woman had grey eyes and brown hair. They all looked happy.

I looked like I got ran over by a truck and a bus. My stomach was howling like a wolf and my hair was a bird nest. I felt completely like shit.

"Okay, Gabriel, can I call you Gabe?" The woman asked.

I glared at her. She saw my gaze and slowly said, "Okaaay, won't call you Gabe. I like Gabriel anyways."

She flipped a page on her notebook and cleared her throat. "Gabriel, can you tell me why you're here?"

I hugged myself and turned my head. I didn't have to answer her questions. She can ask all she wants but I'm not telling her shit. I can't believe I woke up early for this crap. Therapy doesn't help you.

"I know why you're here. Your mom told me what happened."

I scoffed and bit my sweater cuffs. I wanted to ask her what did she know. Did my mom tell her what happened yesterday or what happened a year ago? My mother would do anything to get me help but I didn't need help. I wanted to be left alone in my room.

"She told me what happened yesterday."

I sighed mentally. I didn't want anyone else to know what happened a year ago. I glanced at the woman and she was staring profoundly at me. Should I tell her? If I tell her, maybe I could leave early.

"I told the doctor to go to hell," I said and shrugged.

"Why would you tell a doctor that?" The woman asked.

"He wouldn't leave me alone."

She scribbled in her notebook and nodded her head. She stopped writing when she didn't hear my voice. "Is there anything else?"

I snorted. "Yeah, a whole lot."

I stared dully at the doctor, my mom, and my dad. Shay was next to me, holding my hand. It was weird because it looked like I was holding something in mid-air. They all looked at me when they finished talking and the doctor started talking to me like I was a baby.

"Okay, Gabe. We noticed that you haven't been sleeping much and the faded scars are coming back. Can you tell us anything about that?"

I rolled my eyes and let of Shay's hand. I leaned up from the bed and crossed my arms. "No, I want to go home."

"You can't go home yet. We have to know what's going on."

"Eat shit. I'm not saying anything."

"Gabe!" My mom screeched.

"That is no way to speak to a doctor! He's just trying to help!" My dad yelled.

I groaned and gripped my hair. Why couldn't they understand? I just fainted that's all! I'm fine! The doctor gave me a fake smile and placed his hand on my mine. It was big and hairy. I snatched my hand away from his and got out the bed.

My legs wobbled a bit, my head hurt, and I felt like throwing up. Shay placed an arm around my waist and walked me towards the door. My mom grabbed my arm and we started walking down the hospital hallway. My dad walked next to me with a sour look on his face.

"Go to hell, doctor!" I screamed. My mom squeezed my arm and walked quickly towards the exit.

The woman stared shockingly at me and I stared back dully at her. It was nothing to be shocked about. I said things that were true and it should be told. The woman took off her glasses and placed them next to her desk. I starched my arms again. The doctors put bandages on my arms because of the cuts. They were itchy as hell. "

I'm telling you this now, Gabe. I know more than you think. I want to know everything that's going through your mind, okay? I'm going to give you a book where you can draw your thoughts. You can only draw, not write. I will be checking everyday," the woman announced.

I groaned because it sounded like homework. The woman got up and went to her desk. She took out a black book and gave it to me. I flipped through the pages and almost smiled. I never had a sketch book. I would only use computer paper or on my school desks. I wouldn't get in trouble because the drawings were beautiful and my teachers likes me for some reason. I started to pack my things and debated if I should put my new sketch book in my book bag. I rubbed the soft, front cover and let a smile slip by accident.

"I see you love to draw," the woman said proudly. I nodded and hugged the book to my chest. She smiled and ruffled my hair. I froze for a second. The woman pulled back and opened the door for me. The woman ruffled my hair. Shay used to do that when he was proud of me. Why was she proud of me? I walked out of her room and bit my lips. I turned around and she had the same smile on her face.

"By the way, my name is Ms. Ryther, but you could call me Cassandra," she said happily.

I flashed her a smile. Her smiles were contagious. I nodded and walked out of my school. I thought I would have a hard time talking to...Cassandra but she was kind of like me, in different ways. Maybe going to therapy isn't as bad as I thought.
