Once they got to the cafeteria, heads turned to them as usual then they were avoided. This time Taz pulled out her knife to scare them and it worked. "Huh. I should do dat more often." She thought and put it back in her pocket.
They went to their usual table and ate. Still, Taz knew something was up with Up. He had been acting different this whole time. Was he hiding something from her?
Up continued to try and act normal, but that wasn't working out. Taz noticed it, Taz was concerned. "Is he okay?" She thought.
"Up?" Taz sounded concerned.
"Yeah?"
"Are jou okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, of course I am" he said, "why wouldn't I be?" He asked.
"Jou're acting weird..."
"No-I'm not."
"Sì, jou are..." she said, "Jou're hiding something from me."
"No I'm not Taz,-"
"No, jou are."
"What am I hiding?"
She thought a minute, "something."
Up chuckled. "See, nothing."
"Jou are lying to me." She joked.
"Am I?"
"Sì."
"Where's the proof?" He joked.
"Eh-" she thought, "proof doesn't matter." She did a small chuckle.
"Ah well, Fine."
"Fine what?"
"I have a surprise for you."
"Oh! Tell me." She said.
"I can't."
"Why not?"
"It's a surprise."
"I don't like surprises."
"Well you do now." He joked.
She did a grumpy kid face.
"Ah, stop that Taz." He said.
"Tell me!" She complained.
"You'll find out soon." He laughed and got up.
"Ugh." She sighed and got up too.
They threw their trash away and walked out of the cafeteria back to their dorms. The whole way down she begged Up.
"Can I have my surprise now?" Taz asked annoyed.
"If it's movie time, then yes." Up said putting his hand on the scanner to let them in.
"Really!?" Taz asked excitedly.
"Yeah, you ready?" Up asked putting is hand on the door knob and slightly opening it.
"Sì!" Taz said.
"Okay, three, two-"
"ONE!" Taz yelled and push him forward for the door to swing open. She saw the set up. It looked awesome. The couch was piled with blankets set nicely, a small table which had popcorn and movies spread out with the remote on it. "Oh dios mío-" she gasped.
"-You like it Taz?" Up asked and she nodded, "I did it before we went to dinner- I mean- you get what I mean uh- yeah. Come in!" He said happily.
Taz walked into the room then sat on the couch. Up went next to her looking down. "This is for us knowing each other for already half a year. It's not a party or anything just a, I'm very proud of you thing." He smiled.
