Chapter 22 - Study Movie Nights

Taz paced back and forth across her room that day. It was 6pm and they were meeting at 7. She kept thinking to herself "I'm gunna look like a total idiot..." she thought, "I can't do math!"

"Hey, Taz. What's the pacing for?" February asked cautiously.

"Oh." Taz turn her head sharply to her, "uh-n-nothing." She shook her head to look down and keep pacing.

"O...okay..." February turned back to the stuff she didn't get either in her homework. "What does that even mean!!!!" She yelled at her homework and threw her pencil down.

Taz rolled her eyes knowing what was about to happen: "Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaz!?" February complained.

Taz sighed, "Yeah?"

"Help."

Taz looked, starting to walk towards her, "Helping." She looked at February plainly, "what do you need?"

"What does... 4x + 6 = 30 mean?-"

"Really?"

"-So like... what would x be?" She said dumbly.

"Jou really can't do this simple algebra 1 math? Dis is basic math February." Taz asked, "and I thought I was bad at math..." she thought.

"I said to help me."

"jou literally just asked for de answer." Taz sighed, "ill help, not give answers."

Taz explained to her that you then subtract 6 on both sides that gives you 4x = 24 then you divide on both sides that gave her the answer
x = 6. February tried to understand. Taz wrote how to solve them on the side of her paper then got up, "now figure it out yourself." Grabbed her school bag and walked out of the room, it was 6:54pm. It took a long time for February to comprehend.

Taz sighed. "More math time..." she rolled her eyes at the thought and walked to his room.

She got there in a short amount of time and realized how early she was... about 3 minutes but it was still early.

She knocked lightly at the door. The door swung open in a matter of seconds.

"Taz." Up breathed.

"Up." She laughed.

"Your-You're early." He tilted his head against the door side. It looked so cute that Taz blushed a bit.

"Yeah, um-I'm sorry... want me to come back later. I can come back-"

"No. No, it's fine." He chuckled, "one second though." Up turned around back into the room, shutting the door.

Taz stood there and heard footsteps behind her. She turned around, surprised.

"Taz?"

"Parker?" He nodded at her, "what are you doing here?" She asked concerned.

"I came by to say Hi but it was only February and then she started bugging me and then she started flirting with me and that was really weird so I left and then I saw you by Up's door and I was confused so now I'm here and I'm telling you this whole story-"

"Parker-"

"And you probably don't even care cause it looks like you're doing something important which-"

"Parker!" He shut up, "¡cállate!" she almost breathed.

Parker looked at her confused but just thought it meant to stop talking so fast of some sort.

"Huh?" He said out loud.

"nada. no te preocupes por eso." Taz shook her head looking down.

"I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE SAYING!" Parker joked loudly.
