"What are you thinking about?" Naruto asked. He and I were following behind the girls who insisted we go for a walk on such a nice day while Kakashi followed behind as a rear defense. "I don't know how to do anything. What if I mess up and she runs from me?" I asked, staying quiet.
"The only thing you're gonna mess up is your chance with her if you keep thinking like that, Sasuke. I see how ya look at her. You're crazy for her. Even if you don't know it. You've both had a rough life. More so a rough childhood." He said, locking his fingers behind his head. "Yeah but. I've never done this whole.... Dating thing." I said, slightly embarrassed.
"Well then ask her and we'll be here to support you." Naruto said, nudging me. I hesitated for a moment then stopped in my tracks. "Azamuku!" I called out. Both girls stopped and she looked back at me. "Yes, Uchiha?" She asked. My eyes locked onto hers and my entire body grew weak.
"I. I uhm." I began, stumbling over my own words. I heard Kakashi behind us, chuckling. "Is everything alright?" She said walking to me. Say something, ya dunce!!!! "Sasuke... Calm down." Naruto whispered. "I can't do it. I'm too nervous." I said. "You'll do fine. Here she comes." He whispered again. "What's wrong, Uchiha?" She asked.
"I.... Uhm... Aamuku...? I was wondering if..." I tried, shaking. She rested her hands on my shoulders. I felt myself calm down from her touch. I took a deep breath, still nervous. "Azamuku...?" I tried again. "Yes?" She replied. "Will you.... Uhm... like to... go... out...? Or whatever?" I asked, looking away and blushing. "As in a date or be your girlfriend?" She asked. "The second one." I mumbled too quietly.
"Huh?" She asked. "The second one." I said a bit louder then mumbling again. "I can't understand you." She said. I took a deep breath and looked her in her eyes. "The second one, Chikara." I said, my cheeks a burning red. Her face flushed red as I spoke. It took me a second to realize she was speaking. "What?" I asked again.
"I said. I'd love to be. I wanted to ask but didn't know how." She said. For the first time in a while, I smiled as if there wasn't a care in the world. "I knew you could do it, Sasuke." Naruto said, smacking my arm. "Well it's about time." Kakashi said.
