"Twins. Who woulda thought." I said. I sat next to Azamuku, holding one of the girls in my arms and smiled down at her. Her hair was my color but had a single sea green streak in it towards the front. "Aniko." Azamuku said, kissing the baby in her arms. She sat up and looked at the one I held. "And Mikoto." She said. My head shot up at the name as I looked at her. "You... You mean it?" I asked. She nodded. "Who's Mikoto?" Sakura asked. "She was my mother." I said, looking at the baby in my arms. "Muku. You didn't have to. I was only kidding when I said that."

"I figured we should give them a name that means something. So I used our mothers' names." Azamuku said. I looked at the child in her arms and, smiling. Her hair was a darker version of Azamuku's but not as dark as mine."They're beautiful." Sakura said, smiling. "Where's Gaara?" Azamuku asked. "He went back to the village and said he will be back tomorrow. He wants you to rest up before he brings Temari and Kankuro over." I said.

I laid Mikoto next to Azamuku and smiled. "Can we come see them, now?" Kiba asked from the living room. "Sorry, guys. She's pretty beat. I'm gonna have her rest for now." Sakura answered. "Stop in tomorrow." I called out, yawning. "Alright! We'll see you tomorrow, then." He called back. Out the corner of my eye, I thought I saw a shadow move. "Hm?" I opened the window and looked out of it, checking for any signs of movement. I shrugged when I saw nothing and left it cracked to allow some fresh air in.

I looked at my bed and saw Azamuku on her side asleep, her arm draped protectively over our daughters. For once in my life, I understood what it means to be truly happy. To love someone so much that it physically makes you sick if anything happened to them. I saw my entire life laying in my bed. Holding itself in a strong and fierce woman and two new born girls.

"Good night, beautiful." I said, covering her up and smiling. I walked out to the living room and laid on the couch, giving them the bed. Not long after my head hit the couch pillows, I had fallen asleep, dreaming of nothing more than raising Aniko and Mikoto.
