"Shame. I expected a bit more blood." She said, walking towards the body as it fell from the sky. Deidara managed to get up after slamming to the ground.

"You just won't die, will you." She said. "Those markings..." He managed to get out. "Do you like them?" She asked, posing this way and that. "I figured it was time for a change." She said flexing her hands. "I understand, now, Sasuke. I can feel it. The want for power. The desire for more." She said, looking at her tainted hand. Deidara began to laugh, catching her attention. "You always were so damn cute." He said, straightening up. "I thought of you as a little sister. Figured you'd have thought of me as a brother. Seeing as how you didn't have one." Deidara taunted.

"Low blow..." Gaara mumbled to himself. "Wrong move." I mumbled as a response. "Oh. Did I hit a nerve?" Deidara asked as Azamuku trembled and hung her head. "What's wrong? You gonna cry? Go ahead. Cry like you did when Hidan killed Aniko in front of you." Deidara said going into a laughing fit. "Keep her name out of your filthy mouth." She growled. Gaara walked over to her, standing directly behind her. "Gaara..." She said, her body shivering in rage. "Yes?" He responded.

"Do it." She said, her head snapping up to look at Deidara. The seal had retracted itself as they both stood in front of Deidara. "Aww. Can't fight your own battles?" Deidara teased. I smirked and chuckled, dropping my head and shaking it. "You stupid idiot." I said, almost feeling sorry. Azamuku and Gaara stood their ground, their bodies glowing with chakra. "What?" Deidara said. "Whatever you're doing, knock it off." He demanded.

They both held up their hands, performing the proper seals. I jumped into Azamuku's mind to see what she saw and found myself looking into a dome of blood and darkness. "You see, DeiDei." She started, the illusion starting to wear away at his mind. "You've made three VERY stupid mistakes." She said. Deidara had grabbed his head as voices came from the Illusion. "She topped your record." "I'm proud to say that if anything were to happen to me, Azamuku is to be the next leader." "You could have been my assistant."

The voices were eating away at his sanity. "Stop it!" He shouted. "Mistake one? Coming here." She started. Next came images. There were images of her fighting. Images of the Akatsuki praising her and congratulating her. And then the final image came in the form of a motion picture. Sound included. It was of what would happen to her in private with Pein.

"Look, Deidara." She said. He turned his head away. "I SAID LOOK!" She shouted, moving her hand and snapping his head to look at the picture. His face went to horror as sounds of Azamuku screaming rang through the illusion. Images of Pein violating her multiple times. "This is what I had to endure! Do you think I wanted this to happen!?" She screamed. "I didn't know!" Deidara cried out.

"Of course you didn't. You heard my screams and walked the other direction." She said as a video played of him listening then walking away from the closed doors. "You wanted me to suffer because you were too selfish to look beyond your own desires!" She screamed at him. "You're no different than the rest of them. Only ones worth saving had it been my choice..." She said, pausing. "Were both Uchihas." She finished.

"Yes Itachi did what he did. And I don't know the full story of Tobi. But they cared the most about me. They comforted me after Nagato was done with me." She said. My brother? "They jumped in to save me when I first joined because I didn't know how to defend myself." She continued. "You stood by and hated my guts. If you had the choice to save me or kill me to save yourself, you'd make sure I was long dead." She snarled.

"No!" He shouted. "You're worthless." She spat. "And I was so stupid and forgiving to make you my assistant because I thought you were pretty and cute." She said, raising her hand, Gaara imitating. "Looks like that's one mistake I won't make again." She said. I backed out of her mind but still stayed close enough to view inside the illusion. A transparent Shakaku swirled with a transparency of her seal. Deidara's expression went from fear to pure horror as he watched.

"Please. Don't kill me." He begged. "That's it. Beg. Beg like I did when you walked away as he struck me." She growled. "I'm sorry! I'll do anything!" He cried, tears soaking his jacket collar as they fell. "Why now? Why not when I actually needed you." She asked with a smirk. "Because! I realize that I messed up! I shouldn't have been such a jerk! I was jealous that you were better than me! I was jealous that a ten year old was showing me up in every skill! You knew how to use several elements of jutsu! I only knew clay!" He cried. "I swear I'll never even bring up what we did! I'll forget it ever happened!" He shouted through tears. "No. I want you to remember every bit of it." She said, her words dripping venom. "Please! Forgive me!" He asked, begging on his knees.

She looked at him then lowered her hand, the transparent fusion still remaining. "You're a hot mess. Get up." She demanded. He looked up at her, surprised. "Please, Azamuku. Forgive me. I will forever be under your command." He begged, getting to his feet. "Fine." She said, pausing. I was completely surprised by her mercy. "Really!?" He asked. My surprise went out the window as she spoke her next words.

"On one condition." She said. "Yes! Anything!" He said, eager. "Survive." She said, raising her hand across her chest, Gaara copying. "No! Please!" He begged. She flung her hand straight out to the side as the fusion attacked Deidara, following their hand movements. Each strike led to a blood curdling scream. I had to pull back from the illusion. Upon returning to my own mind, I doubled over and puked. Everything I had just witnessed... It was sick and twisted. Right down to her actions.

His screams echoed through the hot desert air then came to an end, followed by a soft thud. She lowered her arm, and walked over to his body, parting from Gaara. She knelt down and rolled him onto his back then placed her fingers on his throat for a pulse. "Well I'll be damned." She said. "You really do want to be my assistant." She smirked. "Gaara." She said, standing. "Hm?" He responded. "Take him to a hospital. I want him unharmed any further and he is to be put on watch at all times by the highest of men." She ordered. "I have use for him later on." She said grinning.
