"Congratulations!" Anko shouted. "Those of you remaining, you have passed. If you do not have a scroll or you have lost one or both teammates, I'll see you next year." She said. "Now get the hell out of this forest!" She shouted. Everyone made their way back through. I carried Azamuku in my arms as we exited the gates. On the fencing, a note was left by Kakashi. "If you made it out alive, congrats. I will see you soon." Sakura read. We all gave a heavy sigh and began heading towards the village.
Naruto led the group to his home as we waited for Kakashi. He pushed open the door and Kakashi was sitting at the table. "So he's late to everything else, but shows up in someone's house without a problem." Sakura said. "Welcome home, children! It's good to see you all made it!" He said, getting up. He looked at Azamuku then at me. "Let's get her to bed." He said. Naruto led the way to his room where I laid her in the bed.
"Pushed herself too far, again? I told her she was going to hurt herself." Kakashi said, sighing. "She didn't." Sakura said. I gently grabbed her arm and rolled her onto her right side then pulled down her shirt collar a bit. Kakashi glanced over at her from his book and double took, slamming the book shut. "I'll go get Anko." He said, leaving. She groaned and began to wake up as I laid her back down.
Her eyes fluttered open and she slowly sat up. "Sasuke?" She said. "I'm right here. Are you okay?" I asked. She nodded and sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't kill him." She said. "That's alright. We'll get him when our time comes." I said, pulling her close. "You're alive and that's all that matters to me." I said, kissing her forehead.
