“Come here, Claire.” Matt said as he opened his arms for me. I literally ran into him and he held me close.

“I didn’t mean to upset him. He hit one of my nerves and basically said I was a slut. He’d never said that to me before.” I said with a weak voice. Matt rubbed my back as Barry watched outside to see if Scott would come back. Josh looked at me and Matt as my phone went off. My ringtone for text messages was “Carolina”; my favorite song by my best friends, their band Parmalee. I wanted to ignore it but it could’ve been David instead of Scott. I glanced at my phone and realized it was both David and Scott.

‘You knew that I’d get pissed if you said and wore that. You’re right ‘bout one thing though, I’m jealous of every guy you flirt with because I am madly in love with you, It’s the truth.’ Scott sent and I decided not to reply to him but to see what David had to say.

‘How ‘bout a movie tonight at your place? Your pick of the movie.’ David sent.

‘Um, what ‘bout my family? Can’t we just do it at your house?’ I sent back as I wiped the tears on my face. Josh was still looking at me. Matt had sat down on the couch while Barry walked back over to us.

“Scott isn’t coming back. He took his car and drove off.” Barry stated and I closed my eyes as tears fell.

“That’s it, I’m not going on tour with you guys now.” I said and Josh kissed the top of my head.

“You can’t do that, you’ve always came with us. Just ‘cause Scott is pissed isn’t good enough reason for me, Claire.” Matt said and Josh looked at him.

“It’s her decision, Matt. Just let her go.” Josh stated. I opened my eyes just in time to stop them from a fist fight. I got up and stood between them.

“Do not fight. I want it to stop now, Matt. It’d be awkward and it’ll just piss Scott off more. Plus, I don’t know if I can face him after this.” I said and Josh wrapped his arms ‘round me for a hug. I turned ‘round and hugged him as I stared over at Matt. He glared at me. “I think I should leave now.” I said as I grabbed my stuff. Barry stepped in front of me before I got to the door.

“Claire, just think it through. Just ‘cause things went down between you and Scott, doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to stay on tour with us.” Barry said and I budged past him then walked out the door. Josh almost came after me but Barry stopped him at the door. I rushed home as fast as I could and I heard a car pull up to me. I didn’t need to look back to figure out that it was Scott. His convertible came into view in the corner of my eye and I took a deep breath.

“Claire, we need to talk. Now please.” Scott begged. I stopped walking and allowed him to pull up a little farther. I looked over at him and crossed my arms. “I figured that you would’ve kept walking away.” Scott said and I shrugged my shoulders.

“So, what’s your point?” I asked, wanting him to explain the reason why he wanted to confront me after everything that had just happened. “By the way. I might not even go on tour with you guys, now. I figured you better hear it from me instead of the guys.” I stated and he looked shocked. My phone went off and it was David calling me since I guess I didn’t answer is text. “Hey, I can’t talk right now. I’m in the middle of something.” I said.

“Claire, come over to my house tonight. We’ll be alone and alright, text me when you’re done. Bye.” David said and hung up on me.

“Otay, bye.” I said to myself as I hung up and Scott looked at me.

“What do you mean that you’re not coming? You have to come! Our greatest memories are made when we go on tour. You can bring David but I know why he’s coming and the guys don’t know it yet. I won’t tell them but you just have to come with us. I know I deserved what you did to me a while ago because I got you upset with what I said to you. I’m really sorry for doing that to you. Can you forgive me?” he asked and I bit my lip. He got the biggest grin on his face that I had ever seen.
