Gerard's POV:

"Can I help you?" I salesman asked.

"Yes. I needed to buy this stove." I said pointing to the black box sitting beside me.

"Alrighty. I'll see if we have some more in the back then. Can you wait right here please?"

"Yep." I said as he left.

I rocked back and forth, waiting for the guy to return. Mikey and Frank were off somewhere else in the store doing their own thing. I looked around at my surroundings. It felt like an eternity before the guy came back.

"We have one more left."

"I'll take it."

"Alright. Will you please follow me?"

I followed the man to his cash register and took out my wallet.

"Are you gonna take it home or do you want it delivered?"

"Delivered."

"Address?"

"4265 Rockwell Avenue."

"Phone number?"

"5460912785."

"Name?"

"Gerard Way."

"Ok,it should be delivered today."

"It'll be $356.98."

I handed him $360 and took the money that was left over. I looked for Mikey and Frank all over the store before I finally found them in the garden section. I walked up to them and stood there. They noticed my presence and looked back at me.

"I feel like a parent sometimes." I sighed.

"Are you done? Can we go home now?"

"Yes."

We walked out of the store and into the parking lot. I found the black car that belonged to me and got in. Frank got in the passenger seat in victory. Mikey sat in the back with a frown.

"What kind of stove did you buy?"

"A stove."

"Oh my god. What color is it? You know mom is gonna flip if it's black."

I looked at Mikey through the mirror and smiled.

"You didn't."

"But I did."

"She doesn't like black stoves."

"So. We bought it, not her."

"Ok, but you don't even use it!"

"Yes I do!"

"You put bread on it to make toast and then realize that's not how you do it."

"At least I didn't stick a damn fork in the toaster!"

"That was one time!"

"And set the stove on fire!"

"That too, was one time!"

"But you still done it!"

"You make toast on the oven?" Frank laughed.

"No."

"Mom's gonna be pissed."

I ignored his comment and pulled into the driveway. I turned the car off as Mikey and Frank ran up to the door and waited for me to unlock it. Once I did, they ran inside as I made my way to the kitchen.

"Let's watch a movie!" Frank said as I walked into the living room.

"I can't. I'm going out in five minutes and I actually need to leave right now."

"O-oh. Ok. Have fun." Frank said nervously.

Mikey left, leaving the two of us alone.

"What was that?"

"What?" Frank asked turning to look at me.

"The stuttering. The nervousness."

"N-nothing."

"Wait,do you like Mikey?"

"No! I don-"

"Oh my god! Use condoms." I said throwing myself on the couch.
