"So, why do you wanna work for me?"

"I need money. I'm tryna take care of my moms and sister"He said.

"How old are you?"I asked.

"I'm 15, sir"

"Your very young. Just know that if you get hurt, it's on you"I said and he nodded.

"What's your name again?"

"It's Mercedes"

"Well here. If you can sell this in a week then you can work for me"I said handing him a duffel bag.

"Thank you sir"

"Don't thank me yet"I smirked and he got up.

"See you soon"He said and I nodded as he walked out.

"You know he too young"Stunna said as he sat down next to me on the couch.

"He'll soon find out. He wanted the job anyways"I shrugged.

"Yo! Jayda's birthday party was lit yesterday. I met so many baddies on her birthday"

"Yea it's whatever. I just didn't like that, that party dude showed up"I frowned.

"Oh Jahron. He pretty cool to me"Stunna said making me mug him.

"I see why your son is so mean"

"Quincy"Jayda called.

"I'm in the living room"

"So we're gonna be having some visitors"She said walking into the living room and sitting on my lap.

"Who?"

"My brother and his wife are coming down for a few days"

"Please don't tell me their bringing cori"

"They are. She's gonna be staying here until the summer"She said.

"What! Why she gotta stay here? She got parents"I yelled.

"Calm down Quincy. Candy and Jaleel are gonna be traveling the world for a few months and need someone to keep an eye on her"

"She do need someone to keep an eye on her. All that thottiness she being doing in cali. I be seeing her talking to grown men like she not 14 or 15"Stunna said.

"I told you Jay. We don't need to be having that around Thea"I said.

"It's only a couple of months"She said.

"No is my answer"

"Well their kinda at the door"She said not looking at me.

"Oh my gosh"

"We can still sneak out the back door"Stunna suggested.

"I'm with you on that"I said pushing Jayda over on the couch.

"Bye baby"I said kissing her forehead and then we ran.

"This is so-"Thea said but got cut off by the hospital door opening. Who I seen at the door made me instantly roll my eyes. It was my cousin cori. She gets on my nerves.

"What are you doing here cori?"I asked.

"I'm here to see Thea"She said and then looked over at Jesse. She had on booty shorts and a crop top that was too high for my liking.

"Hi, I'm cori and you are"She said going over and sitting next to Jesse.

"Who are you?"Thea immediately asked.

"I'm cori. Your cousin. Mekhi hasn't told you about me"She said looking over at me.

"It wouldn't be good things so I never brung you up"I said and she rolled her eyes.

"How old are you?"Thea asked.

"I'm 15 and how old are you?"

"I'm-"

"Not you. I'm talking about him"Cori cut her off.

"Um.......I'm 14"Jesse said looking over at us. He looked so uncomfortable.

"Why does it matter?"Thea asked.

"Because I want him"

"Well you can't have him"

"And why is that?"Cori said looking at Thea.

"Because I'm his girlfriend"

"And why does that matter? You don't have nothing on me"Cori said cockily.

"You better be lucky I'm in the hospital"

"So you can punch me. Girl please. Here's my number, give me a call"Cori said standing up and giving Jesse a piece of paper.

"Tootles"She waved and then walked out.

"I don't like her"Thea said.
