"Why? She loves the water"Jayda said.
"She mad dumb if she goes back out to the water after she almost got eaten by a shark"
"You know white people crazy. If it was me, I'm never going back to the ocean"Kaleb said.
"Foreal man. Like who goes back after a near death experience"
"If that's what she wanna do then let her. It's a true story"Jayda shrugged.
"Oh my god bruh. She taking ha sister with her. Broad dumb"I said.
"This trash"Kaleb said turning off the tv. It was me, Jayda, and kaleb at her house having a movie night. We just finished watching The Shallows but the movie was mad dumb.
"I can't believe you actually let us watch this bull crap"I said as Jayda played with my dreads.
"I'm bout to pop up some more popcorn"Kaleb said getting up.
"Bring me back a Powerade"She said making him kiss his teeth.
"I ain't getting you no Powerade. Stop being lazy and get it yourself"He said walking out the room.
"He still gon get it anyway"She mumbled.
"Stunn!!! Jay!!!"Kaleb yelled running back into the room.
"What's yo problem?"I asked looking at him like he was crazy.
"The house is on fire. I can't even get downstairs"
"What are we gonna do? I don't wanna die, I have kids to live for"Jayda panicked.
"Jayda calm down. We gon go out the window"
"Do you know how high this house is?"
"Jayda! That's the only way out"I yelled making tears fall out her eyes.
"I'm sorry jay but we gotta go"I said grabbing her arm and pulling her towards the window. Kaleb opened up the window and I looked down to see the pool. Jayda had two pools, one in the front and one in the back.
"We can jump in the pool"Kaleb said making me nod.
"Go Jayda"I ordered and she looked at me scared.
"Jayda go!!!"Kaleb yelled pushing her out the window. I looked at Kaleb and punched him in his arm.
"What's wrong with you?"I yelled looking out the window to see her getting out the pool.
"We need to be worrying about that"Kaleb said pointing behind me. I turned around to see fire. I quickly jumped out the window and Kaleb jumped after me. I fell in the pool and Kaleb fell on top of me knocking the air out of me.
I pushed him off of me and swam up to the surface. I got out the pool to see the house was about to burn down.
"We need to get out of here. Kaleb hurry up and get out the pool"I yelled at him as he took his time getting out the pool.
