A/N-So...this is my first attempt at a poem. It's not any good, but you can still let me know what you think.

She lept upon the mountain top,

wind blowing in her hair.

She sat alone on a beach,

remembering what she dare.

She let the tears roll down her cheeks,

wishing things could be fair.

He'd left her to fend for herself,

they'd been the perfect pair.

She murmured to herself at night,

remembering his stare.

Until, alas, she realized,

that he was never there.

She never could forget his face,

the pain she tried to bear.

She thought back to the moment,

replaying his image disappear.

She longed to hear unspoken words,

she searched everywhere.

But she could never find them,

much to her despair.

The three words belonged to him,

three words he'd never share.

Their worlds were now too broken,

there could be no repair.

So she waited on the beach,

alone and unaware.

His soul was slowly breaking,

because his Rose just wasn't there.
