Amy's P.O.V-
"He kissed me. He kissed me Amy, and I hate it. I can't even- Its Connor. I mean, yeah, I've always imagined it, but not like this. I always imagined it being special, not like this oh hell no. I wanted it to be special, yet all its done is made me feel bad and ashamed." Nadine cries, as I hug my distraught best friend gently.
"Nadine I'm sure he was just unsure of his own feelings, so are you. As soon as you come to terms with it, everything will be okay." I reassure her. Me and Josh exchange awkward glances, before he stands up and starts to speak to break the silence.
"Um, I'm going to get a drink, Amy? Nadine?" Josh asks awkwardly.
"Water please." I smile. He turns to Nadine and she shakes her head whilst drying her eyes. He shrugs.
"Back in a minute." He says awkwardly, before running out the room.
"So anyway, what happened between you two?" Nadine asks, looking up when Josh leaves.
"Nothing. I woke up, we took selfies, that's it." I tell her.
"Oh. Well that's boring. What are we doing today anyway?" Nadine asks.
"I don't know. Josh said him and the boys have got a surprise, but that's all I know." I sigh.
"Oh. Well I hope its something fun. Do you think I'll be allowed to come?"
"Probably, why not?"
The door opens and we both turn our heads sharply, expecting it to be Josh, But its not. Its Connor.
"Nadine, look, I can explain." Connor says, as he rushes over to her side.
She looks up at him and he stares back, water in his eyes.
"Have you been crying?" Nadine asks after a few seconds.
"Yeah, I have. I though you'd hate me." I overhear him mutter.
"Hate you? I don't hate you, I never will, I was just...shocked, that's all." She tells him.
"Okay..Well, do you wanna get a drink or something?" He asks.
"Yeah, sure." She says. He smiles and she smiles back, before Connor turns to me.
"Amy?" Connor asks.
"Um, no its fine, Josh will be here soon." I say. He shrugs and Nadine smiles at me before they both walk out, leaving me alone.

Josh's P.O.V.-
"That would be 3 pound 48 then please." The old hospital shop man smiles. I hand him 4 one pound coins and mutter a simple "Keep the change", before starting to walk out the shop.
"Wait!" The shopkeeper shouts, making me turn around.
"What?" I say. To be honest, i don't mean to be rude, but I'm anxious to get back to Amy. I don't like leaving her, not on her own anyway.
"My granddaughter's a massive fan of you boys. Can she get an autograph?" The man asks, as he comes out from behind the desk and grabs a random piece of paper before running over to me.
"Sure." I mutter. The man tells me her name and I quickly write 'Dear Jess, I love you lots, from Josh xx'
He thanks me and I say goodbye before darting out the shop at my spare minute.
I slowly start to run down the corridor and up the stairs towards and down the corridor again towards Amy's room, and pretty soon I'm outside. As I look through the glass window I see a nurse talking to Amy. I slowly and silently push open the door, ears dropping to overhear the conversation.
