~The next morning~

Josh's P.O.V.-

I stare up at Amy as she sleeps, its 10am in the morning and I'm wide awake in the chair, my head resting against my arms on the edge of her hospital bed.

After a few more minutes she starts to wake up, and soon her sea blue eyes are sparkling at me, a smile on her beautiful face.

"Morning sweetheart." I smile, as she sits up.

'Morning." She mumbles. "How long have you been here?" She asks.

"Since 6." I say. "And I spoke to your nurse, and she said you can stay with us." I grin. "Forever."

"No way!" She exclaims, unable to stop smiling.

"Yep. Nadine's already got your bags. She's moving in too." I smile.

"Oh my god this is the best news ever! Oh my god thank you thank you so so so much!" Amy screams, hugging me.

"You're welcome, we're gonna have so much fun." I smile. "So you wanna go now?" I ask. Nadine nods and she places her hand on my arm as she can't stop grinning and she hops out of bed.

"Will I still have to come back?" She asks me, as we start to make our way towards the door.

"Only for injections they said." I smile.

"Okay. Um, what am I supposed to wear tonight? Like a dress, or jeans, or- I dont really go out much." Amy mutters.

"Well Nadine and the other girls are gonna be wearing dresses, but its up to you." I tell her.

She smiles at me and quickly says goodbye to everyone, before we leave the hospital.

"I'm so excited for tonight." Amy grins, as we get into the back of the car and I sit down next to her.

"Aw, me neither." I smile.

Matt says hello to Amy and he starts the car. We're soon back at the house and Amy gets out, making her way towards the door. She gets in and is greeted by all the boys and Lucy, before she turns to Connor. She looks around, searching for Nadine, until she realises she's not here and goes back to Connor.

Amy's P.O.V.-

"Where's Nadine?" I ask him.

He turns bright red and looks down at the floor, before she starts to stutter.

"Well, she kinda, we were, talking and-"

"They're taking a break. She's gone to visit her family for a few days." Jay tells me sternly, glancing at Connor.

"What?" I ask, in shock.

Why has she suddenly left?

What did he do to her?

Connor looks down guiltily and I rush over to him, grabbing his wrist before pulling him towards the kitchen door. I pull him in before shutting the door behind me, resting against it as he started into my eyes.

"So, wanna tell me why my best friend  has randomly left and ended it after one day then?" I ask Connor angrily.

"Not really." He mutters.

"Connor, I dont care if you want to or not, you might as well because my best friends gone back to Ireland without even saying goodbye, why did she leave?" I ask Connor, gritting my teeth.

"Ireland? What?" He asks, in shock. "What do you mean Ireland, she's from Milton Keynes!" Connor exclaims. I raise my eyebrows and sigh, rolling my eyes.

"Really Connor? She's got an Irish accent, so she's obviously Irish!" I shout.

"Well sorry, I didn't realise! And its not my fault she's left!"

"Connor, what happened?" I ask.

"I done something stupid...I pushed her away...I ignored her and now she hates me ..." Connor mutters. His eyes brim up with tears and I stare at him.

"Connor? What happened?" I ask him softly.

"I dont even know...One minute we were fine, the next she was gone. That was it. No getting her back." He says shakily.

"Connor, it'll be fine. She'll come back. She just needs time." I reassure my shaky boy best friend.

"I guess...Can you ring her? I'm such an idiot." He sighs, as he hands me his mobile after unlocking it. I take it and go through his contacts before I finally find Nadine's name, and it rings about 8 times before she actually picks up.

"Connor, please." Nadine sighs down into the phone. "Just give me some time."

"Nadine, it's not Connor, its Amy. What's up? We'll sort it out, please come back. You dont even have to see Connor, you can sleep in my room or even have the keys to go back to my house, just please?" I beg my best friend.

"Amy, look." She sighs again. "I'm from Ireland, so therefore that's where I'm going. For the moment. I'll come back when I'm ready."

"Nadine please. Just stop. Whatever you're doing, stop. Cancel or stop whatever it is, and step away. For me?"

"I can't..."

"Why not?"

"Because the trains coming. I have to get on."

"Nadine, please? Let's do a deal. Come back tonight, and if you dont like it I'll drive you to the train station first thing in the morning." I tell Nadine.

"You promise?" She asks.

"I promise." I say.

"Fine. Well I'm at the London train station now, I'll get a taxi back."

"Do you want me to come and pick you-"

Nadine cut off so I couldn't finish my sentence. I handed the phone back to Connor and he placed it back on the side before turning to face me.

"Thanks, Amy." He mutters.

"Dont thank me, I done it for me and Nadine's friendship. You weren't included in one part at all of that. But seriously Connor, you have a lot if apologising to do." I told him. He looks down at the floor guiltily before I walk out the kitchen.

"So what happened, is she coming back?" Matt asks, standing up as I walk back in the living room where the boys are resting on their hands and knees on the edge of the sofa.

"Yeah. She'll be back soon. But, unless she asks or says she wants to, can we keep her away from Connor for a little bit?" I say to the boys. They all nod and I turn around.

"Anyway, I'm going back in the kitchen." I say, before turning around and walking back in, shutting the door behind me.
