Too good to go (A Kingsland Road fanfiction)

Part 31

Josh's P.O.V.-

"Quick, she's coming, guys hide!" I whisper, as I rush down the stairs and take my place behind the sofa.

Us boys are all hiding in places round the living room, presents by our feet so they're unseen.

Its Amy's 16th birthday, and we're making it a surprise.

We slowly hear a door shut and light footsteps, and all duck down even lower.

We hear her cough, and light footsteps walk down the stairs, until a light flicks on. She then turns it off again when realizing- or, thinking no ones in here, and walks towards the kitchen.

That's when we all look at each other, before I slowly count down to one from three. My fingers reduce to one and we all jump up, making the floor bang as we all shout happy birthday.

She jumps slightly from shock, and turns round, a big grin plastered on her small face.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, you look like a monkey, but you smell like mine too." I sing as a soloist, rushing over to her. I wrap my long arms round her small waist as I rest my Chin against the top of her head, and she wraps her arms round my waist.

"Thank you." She whispers to me, yet smiling at the other boys.

"So, what'd you wanna do today? I think we should all go out." Matt suggests

"To where?" Connor asks.

"Anywhere, Amy?" I ask. She looks up at me, smiling.

"Yeah?"

"Where'd you wanna go, or what'd you wanna do today babe?" I ask her. She bites her lip for a minute, before leaning over slightly to the left to see Matt so she could talk to him.

"Could we stay here, have like, a movie day? There's not much we can do now I'm pregnant." She laughs.

"Course, just us, or-?"

"I think it should be Me, You, Josh, Jay, Connor, Thompson, Nadine, Sam, Nicholas, and Luke." She suggests. "Just like last time." She smiles. Matt nods and reaches for his phone out his pocket, pressing his screen before pushing past Thompson and rushing up the stairs as he places his phone to his ear to contact the boys.

"Wait-Nadine can come?" Connor pipes up from behind me, a small smile playing on his lips as he stands up.

"Yes, Connor. I spoke to her, she's coming in an hour. Now go, go get ready." She laughs. He pump fists the air and rushes over to Amy, I move out the way and he hugs her tightly.

"Thank you thank you thank you." He says, a massive smile still on his lips before pushing past me and rushing upstairs.

I chuckle slightly, Amy glancing up at me.

"What's so funny?" She asks, smiling.

"Connor. He's so in love." I see her face fall. "Just like me." I add softly, and he face re-lights.

"I love you." I whisper, wrapping my arms around her again as I pull her closer.

"I love you too." She mumbles into my blue patterned T-shirt.

"To the moon and back." She mumbles, causing a grin to pull at my face.

To the moon and back.

Authors note; I'm so sorry this has been rubbish recently, I've been struggling with a lot of things. Anyway, the next two chapters will be the last and then there's a prologue, so dont delete after the end! Okay guys, sorry if this books been bad recently, and prepare for some tissues.
