Amy's P.O.V.-
With my nerves rising, my head pounding and my hands shaking, I shut the front door with Josh behind me, as we make our way towards the car to inform my now parentless family about my growing child.
Wow. 15, with leukemia, being pregnant, raped after going to a night club underaged and drunk, living with five older males, and a twenty year old boyfriend...what kind of example am I giving for my child?
Not a good one is the only answer I can think of for that rhetorical, self asked question.
Josh opens the passenger front seat car door and I quietly thank him, climbing in and strapping the black seatbelt round my soon to be grown body; he shuts it behind me before walking round his side and repeating my previous actions. He starts the car and I place my arm on the window, resting my head as I gaze out at the London surroundings.
"Its okay." He says to me, probably to break the awkward silence that was risen in the car. "You're parent aren't there, she's gone... You dont have to be scared anymore, Amy." He reminds me.
"I'm not scared. I'm fine. I honestly, couldn't give two shits." I lie.
Worst and bigger lie than 'I'm Fine.' right there...
"Okay sure, whatever you say...what are you gonna say to them anyway? Cause I'm pretty sure you cant go 'Hey guys, long story short I went out with the boys at a nightclub on Friday night whilst being underage, I then went outside down an alleyway and got raped, hey guess what I'm pregnant!' Dont think it'll go to well." He chuckles sarcastically.
"I dont know. I haven't thought about it." I sigh, and even though I haven't turned to look at him since I shut the front door and still haven't once, I can tell he's turned to look at me.
"Well you should soon, because we're coming up the street now." He tells me. I snap out my trance and he's right, he's coming up to the address my sister gave me of our aunties house, where they're now staying, the small house coming into view.
"Great." I mutter under my breath.
I hope my auntie isn't in.
"It'll be okay, I'm here." He says, before getting out the car. I stay frozen and pretty soon my door is pulled open, Josh's standing there, towering outside over my sat body that's resting in the car.
"Come on. Out." He says, resting his hand under my arm to help me out the car.
"I dont want to." I mumble shakily, and he sighs.
"We didn't drive for nothing. Amy please. It'll be okay." He lies. There's a few moments of silence, him just standing there, before I get out the car.
I look over towards the door and Jessica's already there; I turn back to Josh.
"I hate you." I smile slightly, shutting the car door and walking towards Jessica.
"Hey." I smile when I reach her.
"Hey. Are you okay?" She asks.
"Yeah, I'm...good." I mumble.
"Well." She smiles. "Come on in then." She says. She opens the tall, wooden door and I smile, Josh follows me inside too, shutting the door behind him.
"Is Jay here?" My sister asks Josh when she sees him, and Josh shakes his head.
"No. He's at home. Why would he be?" Josh replies.
"Oh..." She says quietly, her face falling. I shoot Josh a worried look and he looks back, shrugging. "He said he'd pop round today..." She sighs, causing me to glance at Josh again.
I know she liked him but...they're talking?
"How're you talking to him?" I ask, and she faintly smiles.
"He gave me his number at lunch." She smiles, and I shrug.
"Fair enough. So anyway, we have some news." I say as we follow her into the living room.
"You're pregnant?" Jessica asks.
My emotions went from nervous to shocked, plain cold, as I turn back to Josh before turning to Jessica.
"How did you know?" I ask, the hairs on the back of my neck standing up as my heart races.
"Jay told me." She smiles. "Congratulations."
"Thank you." I say. "Where are the others?" I ask.
"At the library, dont ask why ahaha." She laughs. "You gonna stay for dinner?" She asks.
I turn to Josh and he shrugs.
"Sure, why not." I smile.
