Nadine's P.O.V-
I sigh as I turn around and start to walk away from the oncoming train, my phone violently buzzing.
"You're coming back?x" A text from Connor read excitedly. I sighed and placed my phone back in my pocket.
Well great. The last thing I need is Connor on my case.
As I turn around the oncoming trains wind hits the back of my hair and a man approaches me from behind.
Oh my god.
A man that looks around 60, his eyes squinted and a grey beard hanging from his chin and grey hair attached to his head, with a dark musky green coat and black baggy ripped trousers approaches me from behind, resting his heavy hand on my shoulder.
I spin round and turn to face him, my body froze in shock.
"Yes?" I ask scared.
"You dropped this..." The man says quietly, as he hands me a twenty pound note. I open up my coat pocket to realise I have, and thankfully take it out of the mans hand.
"Th-thank you." I stutter.
"So..." The man says creepily, as he edges closer towards me, his face inches close to mine."Do I not get a reward?" He whispers into my cold ear, his shaky drunk breath overwhelming me with fear.
"N-No..." I stutter, starting to walk away quickly to get away.
"Hey sweetheart!" He calls out. "We weren't finished!" He shouts. I turn around to see that he's walking briskly after me and I start to rush away, not running away but fast enough so that he can't come after me in case he runs.
"Hey." I hear a voice say angrily, and I'm sure I've been caught by the drunken stranger.
But I'm shocked when I turn round to find I haven't, and Connor is standing in front of the man, a punch thrown to the drunks face.
"Connor?" I ask shakily. Connors like an angel, he doesn't hate anyone and wouldn't hurt a soul, so this side of him scares me badly.
"Nadine?" He says, as he turns around to face me. He raises his eyebrows and nods to Matt who is standing behind me. Matt rests his hand on my arm and he turns me away, starting to walk me towards the outside of the train station.
"How did you find me?" I ask Matt, as I'm guided away from Connor and the drunk.
"Amy, she got Jay to track your phone after she rang. He's more clever than he seems." Matt tells me.
"Oh...right..." I say.
"Nadine, please dont do that. Connors your boyfrie-"
"Ex." I interrupt him.
"Okay, yeah, ex, whatever. Anyway, He's your ex, and he was your boyfriend a few hours ago. Nadine he burst out into tears. Crying, rocking himself on the floor, that kind of crying. I've never seen him like that before. I know you've probably heard it a lot of times but he needs you." Matt tells me quietly, as he turns back to face Connor. He turns back to me and raises his eyebrows before whispering a "Good luck." and walks off.
Connor approaches me and I sigh. I've now missed the train, the only option is to go back to the flat.
"Nadine, please-" He says.
"Connor..." I sigh. "Just leave it." I say, starting to walk off.
"No, I won't." He says, grabbing my arm and spinning me round to face him. "I love you okay? I love you and I've loved you more than I've ever loved anyone before, I can't do this without you. Ever since day one, when that letter arrived and I opened it, I've read it over and over because its the first time I found out you exist. I need you, Nadine. I can't do this, you're my everything and its not even been a week, not even three days. I was an absolute dick and I messed up utter and completely and I'm a massive idiot. I really need you to give me another chance. Please? For me?" Connor tells me, his voice shaky and his cold body shaking.
I think about it.
It wasn't his fault.
I do need him.
But will he hurt me again?
"Fine." I say. "You get one more chance, blow it and that's it." I warn him. A massive smile creeps across his face and he hugs me, his warmth radiating onto mine.
"Thank you so much Nadine, I promise I won't wreck it this time." He whispers into my ear. "Now come on, Matt's in the car with Jay and Thompson and Amy and Josh are at home, they wanted some alone time. Let's go." Connor smiles, as he takes my hand and we make our way towards the car, where Matt, Jay and Thompson were waiting.
