Chapter 6

I'm home now. I told Mr. Smith about what happened and I finished the day. Wonderful. Now I only have one more day here. And I still didn't tell my friends i'm leaving what am I going to do?

"You look upset."

"Oh mother don't do that to me" I say.

"Sorry honey" she comes and sits next to me. "Your teacher called me today and told me what happened. I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you. It only attracts monsters and..."

"Shouldn't have told me? Mom I know it's dangerous, but you can't just send me off without knowing. I appreciate you telling me."

I see my mom tear up

"I can't believe you're moving away."

"I might come back next year."

"I don't know Ellie you've only known for a day and you got attacked by two monsters."

"Mom I'll be fine." I say. I'm pretty sure she believes me because she stands up and goes into the kitchen. Honestly I'm excited to go but I don't think I'll be able to leave my parents.

However I can't wait to meet Percy and Annabeth and all maybe I'll just think about that. Maybe I'll go to bed. Yeah that sounds nice.
