Andy pulls back from Noah's attack and rolls over, panting to catch his breath. Noah is in the same state next to him, both equally satisfied and yet, left wanting more. Mating season is halfway over and by now, most everyone has found their partner to spend the rest with.

"Fuck," Noah pants, running his fingers through his hands. "That was good."

Andy shares the same opinion although he wishes for once he could take control whenever they have their little adventures. He's a beta-potential. He has some authority running through him and yet, he can never seem to find the courage to take top over a simple warrior like Noah.

"We shouldn't have done this."

Noah's expression doesn't reflect a smirk but Andy knows him well enough to know it's hidden there. "Poor beta-potential. Can't find it in himself to take charge for once."

"Fuck off."

Andy gets up and begins to get dressed.

"No round two?"

"Trisha is still missing," Andy remembers. "Someone's got to keep Zach in control before he destroys everything. Doubt Ollie will be enough."

Noah hums and silently watches as Andy searches for his shirt. Andy can feel the warrior wolf checking him out, putting off an aura of sexual tension that's hard to ignore. For the sake of his brother, though, Andy shoves it off and gives one final nod to Noah before heading off to find Zach.

Downstairs, he can hear his twin arguing with Ollie from their Alpha's office. Their voices echo throughout the house, making the entire atmosphere uncomfortable. The friction that cloaks the pack is obvious by their expressions and everyone is weary from trying to find Trisha while mating season hits an all-time high. It's a situation no one wants to be a part of.

"Where the fuck did she go?"

Andy walks in freely to hear his brother cursing out loud. He paces in front of Ollie who is lying across the couch with his hand over his head. It's obvious that Ollie is holding himself back from tackling Zach down and destroying him himself.

"Calm down," Andy interrupts him, announcing himself. "We'll find her. She couldn't have gone far."

Zach turns sharply towards him. "It's already been a day, Andy. She's been gone for a fucking day!"

Andy raises his brow but decides not to comment on how whipped his brother is. He can't really blame him. They're new mates and it's the climax of the season.

"I swear if something happened to her..."

"Nothing happened to her. She's got Alpha blood in her and she's a warrior. She'll be fine. She won't get hurt so easily."

"No, she wouldn't." Ollie agrees, sitting up when he finally realizes that Zach has shut up. Using his fingers, he massages his temple and leans over his knees, focusing hard. "I still don't like that she's been missing for so long. We still haven't figured out who attacked my wards and that Alpha or Alphas they faced could still be out there."

Andy flinches hearing his brother's growl. It's the first time Zach has heard anything about it but Andy knows he can already tell what kind of situation it is. Giving him a look of concern, Andy avoids him and falls into one of the seats by the desk.

"Were you able to see Julie?" Zach asks, glaring harshly at Ollie as if they're enemies. "Is she all right? Does she know about these attacks? These Alphas?"

Ollie frowns. "No. I didn't get to see her. It's bad enough that I showed up unannounced."

Zach growls out again. "Did you tell Dresden?"
